We loved tent camping here! I loved that the horses come up to say hello (although keep an eye on your stuff lol!), it was nice to be surrounded by farm animals. There was ample privacy, the bathroom/shower room was spotless and worked well. Stargazing at nighttime was excellent. Luiz was a gracious host and responded quickly to any questions we had. 10/10 recommend!

We absolutely loved the place. Luiz was so nice and helpful with anything we needed. So many good fishing spots around. Loved seeing all the animals and feeding the horses carrots. The RV was amazing and super clean. Everything we needed all there. Definitely would come back.

The Lake O getaway.

Off the path. Awesome sunsets. That canoes and bikes are available is great. The host is very attentive as well as Bruno his pup. Extremely friendly and playful.

Peaceful place, beautiful sunsets

Me and my kids had a beautiful stay at Luiz farm! It’s very peaceful, the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Luiz is very friendly and helpful, he even made a dough bait for my son to fish. Kids loved to feed horses, bring some carrots and apples. We definitely recommend this place for a peaceful gateway.

Luiz was a gracious host and the campsites were nice and spacious. The lake was very nice to camp next to and there was plenty of shade to set up your tents in. The farm animals were super cute!

Hidden Treasure

His land is a hidden treasure! The grounds are kept nice and it's very pretty to walk around and look at the trees and lake. The sites are spacious and private, and Luiz and his dog Bruno are friendly, accommodating hosts. He has a clean bathroom for guests, and you can walk your dogs on or off a leash. The free roaming horses, Cows, bulls and chickens are a game changer. They are so fun to interact with!

We didn’t wanna leave, between the awesome horses, pony, and of course Bruno(campsite dog). We kept a cooler full of apples and carrots for the horses, they will shun you. Bring apples, carrots, please lol Big open ranch, free to explore, our dogs absolutely loved it and really helped their socialism meeting new people and the horses, cows.etc. We originally booked for a week, and decided to stay for two months! Great fishing nearby at the dam, and onsite fishing in the pond. beautiful place and great sunsets

Beautiful lake and sunsets.

We were in hip camp site two with water and electric. The best aspects of this camp is the small fishing lake, and beautiful sunsets. The horses, chickens and cows have the freedom to roam and are friendly and well taken care of. Our host Luiz, is laid back and at the same time attentive, always working to improve his land. The other guests were quiet, respectful, and friendly. Bruno, the cattle dog, appreciates you throwing a stick for him. I would give the shower experience a 2 out of 5. The water does get warm/hot but not much pressure. However It will get the job done. We would stay here again if in the area! Thanks Luiz, for your hospitality.

The land is beautiful and the camping lots are spacious with a lot of space between them. It is a perfect place for peace and quiet. I love the free roaming horses, cows, bulls and chickens, some of them being rescues. In addition, the place is extremely dog friendly; the owner has a cattle dog, Luna; who always makes a point to pay the campers a visit! The bathroom is clean, with a toilet, sink and shower. Each site has a bonfire pit too. This is my favorite Himcamp place!

I enjoyed myself so much last year we booked again this year. Luiz is a nice man and very helpful. Very beautiful and quiet property. Spacious . Camp sites are spread out far apart for privacy. Gorgeous lake and sunsets! Highly reccommend!

A little piece of heaven!!!

Site 4 lake view no hook up.

Site 7 was so secluded and we felt like we had the whole farm to ourselves. We absolutely fell in love with both Bruno and the pony. Bruno’s stick fetching skills are second to none and our 9yo son soon found the pony to be his new very best friend! He hugged the pony even more than he caught bass…and that, too, was plentiful! We only wish we could’ve stayed longer! We had a 100 gallon water bladder and generator for our 19’ travel trailer, which made being on a “no hookup” site a breeze. Luiz was so kind and helpful, especially with greeting us upon our arrival. As long as you bring sufficient food for your stay, there’s no need to leave the farm at all, and I highly suggest you don’t waste a minute of your time elsewhere!

We had site 6. It was a nicely shaded by palms spot on a beautiful pond. We enjoyed meeting 7 of the locals---- 3 cows, 3 horses and a friendly blue heeler. With farm animals you need to watch where your walk, of course. Had a small issue both the shower and Luiz addressed it immediately!! !

Relaxing Getaway

We absolutely loved camping at Luis’s place. Between the calm surroundings , relaxing views and the super friendly animals, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Luiz was a great host making sure all was taken care of. The shower and bathroom was nice and clean , which is a bonus! Would totally recommend for some secluded time in nature .

Luiz was great! I loved the place and the animals. Luiz is a great host we will definitely be staying here again. Story book scenery , and campfires ! Showers are nice, and outdoorsy. Horses are super cute, and he cares about them a lot. He's funny, and made me laugh which is hard to do! Definitely book here, and be sure to take the paddle boat out. We didn't get too but it looked like a good time!

This was not meant to be a low rating. We had a great time camping here. The experience was perfect for us. However the camping style here is not for everybody. It is definitely not glamping. Therefore I would be selective as to who I would recommend it to. I would absolutely go back.
