This cabin was a great place to stay for our trip to RMNP! It's situated in a small mountain town with no service, which was the perfect escape for us. The cabin was a little hard to find but once we did we had no issues and enjoyed our stay, Would recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway.

The hot tub was amazing, a d so relaxing after a long day of hiking. We got to see a full moon from the hot tub which was so pretty. Cabin was adorable, and felt very cozy.

Amazing space! With the wind whipping on the mountain, it was a refuge of warmth and solitude. Very cozy and the perfect place for a weekend of rest and adventure!

This place is amazing. The host is super communicative and does a great job spelling out what to expect. It is as described if not better. It has everything you could want, including great blankets/bedding, plenty of cookware, dishes, towels, wash clothes, games, and top of the line appliances make cooking super easy. The hot tub is such a nice respite after a long day. It is perfect for a couple looking for a mountain getaway. We cannot wait to get back this summer.

Jessica was an amazing host, very nice and welcoming but not overbearing and we felt like we had plenty of privacy. The cabin is so cute and clean. We couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a gettaway!

Lovely rustic cabin, perfect getaway for couples. The hot tub was super cozy for the snowy surroundings. It’s a big plus for pianists too - we had fun recreating our favorite Bon Iver and Beatles songs :) Thanks for the lovely stay

The cabin itself was beautiful. Unfortunately, during our stay the lock to the cabin broke and locked us out without our dog. It was about 10 degrees out and dark. Jessica was extremely unhelpful and kept putting off calling a locksmith, blaming us for “breaking” her lock (locksmith later confirmed it was not user error, but malfunction of the locking system). She asked me to pay for a locksmith if she called one and acted like she wasn’t going to do it if i didn’t agree to pay. I had no service so could not call one of my own. She did end up calling one much later after I said we could just get the fire department to come. While we waited in the snow for locksmith to drill the lock, we were crying from stress & cold and Jessica kept making comments about the cleaning we were expected to do and even asked, “Hello? hello?” when she thought I didn’t respond loudly enough. She asked us to stay our last night in the unlocked, unsecured cabin but we left as soon as we got our dog and drove home in the middle of the night. She is still holding part of my refund hostage for a “cleaning fee” for one dirty tray.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin in the mountains. Jessica was very responsive, super kind, and very accommodating. We arrived on a full moon which made the hot tub even more magical. The wood stove kept us cozy and warm, and there was plenty of firewood. The kitchen was perfect; it had everything we needed and then some. Our favorite part was definitely the piano, but the bear robes were a close second. Our days were spent hopping from the hot tub, to lounging in our bear robes and playing music, with our evenings by the fire, playing games and reading. We will definitely be back to this serene spot as we would love to explore more of this beautiful area of Colorado.

Jessica accommodated our needs and was very welcoming and communicative. We arrived late at night to a cozy fire and enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. My husband and I especially enjoyed the many laughs over the different eclectic decorations, they were conversational pieces.

This was such a special little cabin! Jessica has curated such a peaceful eclectic space to relax in. There’s always something to explore or look at and the kitchen was so cute, as was the cozy sleeping loft. It was a lovely experience and next time I’ll definitely stay longer!

Vein Of Gold Cabin
Such a cute little cabin to spend the weekend at! Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, stove is well stocked with wood to burn and bathroom stocked as well. Jessica was super helpful and a great host.

Such a wonderful cabin! Adorable and great aesthetic. Felt very warm and cozy. Jessica was a wonderful host, and we felt very welcomed. During the days, we did some fall hiking, and spent some time in Ned. We enjoyed access to the private hot tub also! Couldn’t recommend it more!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the vein of gold cabin. We were able to relax and just 'be' for a while.
Jessica was very detailed in her thoughtfulness and instruction to get there safely, enjoy our stay, maintain the space and help everyone after us enjoy the space, as well.
Everything functioned really well for our needs - full kitchen (no microwave), full bathroom, beautiful views, a bed, a hot tub,, fires, and several nooks and spots to curl up and enjoy the day (inside and out).

This place was exactly what we envisioned for a romantic secluded getaway! The place was adorable and adequately described. Directions to the cabin were easy to follow and Jessica was responsive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be visiting again !

Such a beauty! Jessica's place is tucked away in a quiet town. Enjoy the hot tub without the jets on, and hear the hummingbirds chirping away just arms reach from you. The cabin is cozy yet spacious and exceeded my expectations.

Perfect secluded weekend getaway for 2 or small family. During the morning/day, humming birds visited on the patio. Brainard Lake Rec Area is around the corner with wildlife hikes up the peaks. We had dinner at the rustic Gold Hill Inn. Fresh apple pie & old time photos made the visit unforgettable. We will be back again!

The location is BEAUTIFUL! The cabin is cozy, cute, and eclectic. The hot tub is amazing and we loved having fires in the fire pit outside every night!

Jessica's cabin was fantastic and I would highly recommend to others. We had a fantastic time relaxing with our dogs and taking advantage of the private hot tub, fire pit, and the local attractions Ward has to offer. The house was clean and cozy and left us wishing for a return trip soon!

Vein Of Gold Cabin
The cabin was great! The hot tub was wonderful. We had a great time and my dog enjoyed the snow! We will definitely go back. Google sent me up a little side road that I didn’t think I could make it up. So we turned around and found another way around. Other than that, everything was awesome!

Cabin was clean but wish we would have had some extra towels for the hot tub as we only had robes that were still wet from previous guests. Kitchen towels were also a little
damp from previous guests- neither of those were a huge deal to us. It was a good stay, but wish I would have read through the description and reviews more thoroughly - the host disclosed all information, I just didn’t read it carefully. There is a rooster on the property, and when I say on the property, it’s like 10 feet from your bed and it is LOUD. At 6 am. Again, not the host’s fault, I just didn’t read that piece of info. We stayed for one night before we went into Boulder as we wanted to save a little money from a hotel
2 nights and it provided what we needed. It was clean, had kitchen amenities for cooking, a nice bathroom and shower with hot water, and a nice hot tub to look at the stars at night. Just was not really my vibe as far as comfort for sleeping and peace and quiet for sleeping in, but that’s on me, not the host or place! Definitely a cute, quirky cabin for a getaway. There is not much in Ward but we went into Nederland (about 14 miles away) and found a great pizza place and brewery for dinner and a bakery and coffee shop for pastries and coffee in the morning.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Vein Of Gold! Jessica was so responsive and communicative leading up to the trip and when we were there. It was the PERFECT get away. My group especially loved all of the games and the hot tub!

The best place I’ve ever stayed! The cabin is sooo cozy and every detail is so sweet. The kitchen was fully stocked, the robes were the nicest touch, and we spent hours in the hot tub.

This little cabin is magical! Cozy inside and out. It’s equipped w a great kitchen to cook in, fire spot inside and outside, amaaaazing hot tub, and even a well tuned piano. My pup was right at home. Just minutes from Brainard Lake hiking is also pretty sweet.
