Perfect camping!
We had such a great time at Bill & Tina's ranch. It is absolutely beautiful! I could've have imagined a better camping situation; the sites were easily found, clearly marked, and private. The lodge was far enough away that we felt we were truly camping but close enough to provide easy access power to charge phones, showers, and even the basics of food and supplies (and very fair and affordable prices) so we didn't have to interrupt our stay because we forgot some random item. Bill and Tina were wonderful hosts. Their ranch seriously couldn't be more perfect. My son and I had a great time and will definitely be back!

Awesome location, lovely hosts!
Amazing views! We brought a Girl Scout troop here and stayed in cabin 2. The hosts were fantastic and helped with every need, to include when we forgot matches for the fire. The facilities were clean and well kept. There were fun games to play and the girls had a blast. We only are sad not to have seen a moose, maybe next time. Absolutely would come back to this location. The cabins are affordable, warm and cozy. Thanks Tina and Bill!!

Highly Recommend!
Where do we even begin, this was such a great stay/experience in Colorado. It was our first time camping up in the area of Black Hawk. A few days before our arrival the area had a very early snow storm come through. Bill helped us find the perfect campsite and was extremely hospitable and accommodating to us and our dog. You will be greeted with a smiling face from the owners and a very friendly pup named Molly. The campsites are well manicured and maintained with grills, tables, and firewood available. Our site was only a short walk from the lodge that is being remodeled. There are clean showers and bathrooms available as well as a kitchen. We are already planning our next trip back up to visit again in the spring to bring our friends and family.

My friends and I planned a very impromptu trip camping without planning very ahead so we ran into a few complications upon arriving. It had barely started to snow so we wouldn’t have been able to set up camp and instead needed to rent out one of their cabins for an extra $20. The hosts were very nice upon arrival.

The campsite has beautiful views and was away from the rest of the world. Bill & Tina were SO nice and were always there to help if we had questions and put on coffee for us early in the morning before hiking. If you are not from this area, it may be important to know that this is in the middle of nowhere and there are not any places to eat or shop for about 40 minutes so if you are to camp here, make sure you bring food or know your drive will be a little hefty. My stay was in October and it snowed quite a lot so we upgraded to a cabin. The cabin would have been perfect if it would have been warmer. Bill & Tina let us borrow a heater but it did not put off much heat. There was one outlet in the cabin so if you have a heated blanket, it would maybe be ideal. Overall I was happy with the stay but I would definitely go during a warmer time or bring different supplies to make the stay more enjoyable.
