Sleep Yurts are glamping off-the-grid! Complete your stay at Tennessee Pass under a blanket of Colorado stars by reserving a night or two in the warmth of your own cozy yurt. Beautifully furnished with handcrafted log beds (full linens including down comforters), and gorgeous soapstone wood stoves, our sleep yurts are the perfect end to a perfect day!Our hike in, hike out sleep yurts are surrounded by the pristine San Isabel National Forest and tucked 1.3 miles into the backcountry. The fun is getting up there. Snowshoe, ski, or hike up a groomed trail, while the staff chauffeurs your luggage to the top. Arrive in a cocoon of warmth, the fire will already be started for you in the soapstone wood stove. Take in views of the highest fourteeners in Colorado from the deck. Curl up under a thick down comforter and watch the stars through the skylight. It’s a romantic getaway, family vacation, or opportunity to reconnect with friends. If you would like to dine with us, the Cookhouse is only a .3 mile walk or ski away, where a five-course candle lit meal awaits you, with an additional reservation made over the phone. Enjoy welcoming hospitality from our experienced staff and locally sourced fare. Feel free to cook a meal in the yurts, using the stocked cookware. Explore sixteen miles of groomed Nordic Ski trails during the day in the winter or hiking for miles in any direction in the Summer. Leadville and Turquoise Lake are a short hike down and drive through the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
