Perfect place to get away from the city and slow down. Super cozy and peaceful.
There were some utensils and lots of blankets, so everything felt really comfortable. The view is breathtaking and the stars at night are just unreal. ✨
Stephanie was always quick to respond to our messages and very helpful throughout our stay. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

Just got back from an incredible stay at this A-Frame, and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The cabin itself is cozy, beautifully designed, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway, which is exactly what you want when you escape into the outdoors.
But what truly made the trip stand out was the host, Stephanie. She was absolutely amazing. Her communication was quick and friendly, she gave clear directions, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests’ experience.
The location was perfect for a quiet weekend of camping vibes mixed with cabin comfort. Whether we were relaxing on the deck, enjoying the view, or winding down inside after a day of exploring, it all felt like the ideal getaway.
Highly recommend staying here! We’ll definitely be back!

Sunrise AFrame
The a frame was the perfect place to reset after a long day driving across country! The view of the stars and twinkling lights below was perfection! Nice to unplugged and watch the moon roll across the sky. I’ll definitely stop again when I’m in the area! Very cute and cozy!

We had an amazing time staying at the cabin. The cabin was well stocked with propane and water, and the power station looked very nice too! The cabin itself is very cute, comfortable, has a fantastic view, and definitely feels private and secluded from the rest of the grounds. Stephanie was extremely responsive and eager to help, and was able to secure a sturdy ladder for us to get to the bed mere minutes after the request. The cabin definitely still has some construction items remaining, but is more than finished enough to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time and will most definitely be coming back next year!!

My family and I loved camping at Stephanie's Sunrise Campsite. We chose Site 1 from the reviews and it didn't disappoint. It was private and had spectacular views. The bathroom facility was clean and was thoughtfully stocked. We even had a surprise visitor in the morning, a majestic buck exploring. We would love to come back again in the spring.

Fantastic view and totally is one of the best sunrises we’ve had camping. Host was great and brought firewood to our site before we arrived. Not as cool as the high range. Slightly cool than Denver for comparison.

Site 3 was exactly the peaceful mountain getaway I hoped for. My dog and I woke up to a sweeping view of the valley and caught a spectacular sunrise, that made the name “Sunrise Campsites” feel perfectly earned. The site has a small grassy area that is fairly level enough to pitch a tent, with a picnic table and a clean, convenient toilet. Stephanie is a warm and thoughtful host!

What a wonderful view! We had site 1 with boulders for my son to climb on. Plenty of space and peaceful (no other campers while we were there). Due to fire ban Stephanie kindly rented us a metal gas fire pit which was waiting for us on our chilly first night. The games to left for us to play were a bonus! Super clean portaloo. Loved listening to the creatures from our tent at night, and the wonderful Castle Rock with Art fair, Challenge hill and Adventure park at Phillip S Miller park were just 20 min or so away and fun!

Stephanie was an amazing host and accommodated our last minute camping trip Labor Day weekend! The views were outstanding, it was quiet and peaceful! Our kids had a great time and loved the fire pit Stephanie offered and brought down to us! We would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient spot to car camp. Car was right next to the site. Great view as well . Directions to the spot were very easy with signage on the road. The three sites , though spacious, don’t have any divider or means of seclusion if others are there camping at another site . Had a wonderful weekend !

Stephanie was a wonderful host. We enjoyed the space. She even had lawn games to play and a little first aid kit provided (perfect when I minor lay scraped my finger). We had friends book site 1 and we booked site 2. Which gave us more space to spread than usual. It could’ve been more crowded if we hadn’t shared the sites that way. You can see the back of host house from site 2, but it didn’t seem intrusive to me. Beautiful views of castle rock. Definitely bring a camp toilet and pop up privacy shelter for it. There’s no place to go to bathroom otherwise. Campsite was well kept and clean! Thank you Stephanie!

Great place to enjoy some time outdoors. One of the best sunrises you will see and also great at night. Stephanie was vey helpful and responsive. Lots to do around we hiked Devils Thumb Fire lookout. Will be back. Thank you

The views were gorgeous! We needed wood and Stephanie provided it within 5 minutes of asking. It was very clean and quiet. We even got to wake up to a deer with the sunrise!

We loved camping at this close-yet-remote site only 40 min or so from Highlands Ranch. Like camping on a wide, flat ledge high above the plains. Sunrise & birdsong in the morning, moonrise, stars and the wind in the pines at night. No extras, just the basics - a fire pit and somewhere to sit and eat. We’ll be back.
