Stargazer Hill Kermit- 15' Camper
Private party for all!
From the drive in it was Epic Mountain View’s in every direction, just as it is at stargazer hill! Phenomenal sunsets with 3 different shades looking directly west, burnt orange and red, facing East the purple and pink hue and and SSW red snowcapped mountains. Then when the light fades it’s only temporary, as the lights of the starry night sparkle as they were almost within reach. Take time to find allllll the excellent amenities within the camper! Grills, heaters, solar lighting, jackets, gear, awesome kites! Get there with plenty of sunlight and time to make yourself aware of grounds and walking paths. Thick bottom shoes recommend.

Bring your backup game for a popup
Great site! Like others mentioned it was not super easy to get a camper in, but we made due. We brought our popup and found a spot at the lower campground, we decided against the one at the top because we had more tree coverage at the lower one. In hind site getting a camper into the top site would have been loads easier. Lots of dead branches and wood around to use for a fire, but we found out when we got there about the fire ban, its been pretty dry in that area. Also bring closed toe shoes, there are lots of cacti. We saw lots of fresh deer tracks and had one walk within 100 yards of our site, she took a look at us, then walked away.

Sun, stars, and time well spent.
The drive up to the top campsite was easier to get to than we had thought based on the directions/description. Windy but always a great view for the stars. Would like to have known about the terrain because there were cacti everywhere but that’s the only negative. The host was very helpful and responsive to messages. Great place!
