Riverview RV Park and Campground is set in the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains along the Big Thompson River. The quiet countryside setting of our family-oriented park, with its gorgeous surroundings and charming wood carvings, is a favorite for groups or a romantic getaway. Hidden beneath the cottonwoods at 5100 ft elevation, Riverview RV Park and Campground is near the Big Thompson Canyon entrance. We are 30 minutes from the beauty of Estes Park and 20 minutes from unique shops, art district, and numerous family friendly activities within Loveland and Ft Collins. Cheyenne and Denver are about an hour’s drive from Loveland on I-25.

This cute, cozy tiny home is located on a beautiful campground and RV park in the Rocky Mountain foothills just outside of Loveland, CO. Perfect for families, romantic getaways, or a reprieve from the city, we are 30 minutes from Estes Park and 45 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a beautiful drive up the canyon! Downtown Loveland is 15 minutes away and Old Town Fort Collins (as well as the CSU campus) is 30 minutes away. During the season between Memorial Day and Labor Day there are many activities available on the campground including games for kids and live music on Saturdays. The campground is full of life, but you are also tucked in the back close to the river where solitude and quiet are yours. This adorable Tiny Home can accommodate 6. We offer 4 beds (1 full, 2 single, 1 fold-out full). No pets allowed.

Well run commercial campground between Loveland & RMNP. Ours & most sites by us had just 50A & 20A electric. We were promised a 30A site so they lent us a converter (great staff esp maintenance guy). Water was great but pressure varied, next time we'll use their water to fill our tank then use our pump for consistent pressure. Sites were a little small but our 30' trailer fit easily. Some sites had big class A's & 5th wheels w/6 slide outs. Staff spread out campers so our neighboring sites were vacant half the week we were there. Beautiful perimeter trail along the river & nice dog park. Very quiet & friendly place, ~20 minutes to a Safeway in Loveland but still has that out-in-the-woods feel. 45 minutes to Estes Park & a bit under an hour to Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots of cabins & RV parks in this area but this one is back in the woods so no noise from US34.

Riverview RV Park had easy accessibility to Rocky Mountain National Park and any service needed was within 7 miles. It was far enough from Loveland, CO to be away from the congestion. It was a very pleasant place to stay.

We spent three nights at Riverview RV Park and Campground and found the accommodations to be just fine. We had a small snafu regarding power (thought we were getting 30A, but the pedestals were 50A or 20A only), but the camp store loaned us a dogbone adapter so we could fully power our coach. The entrance to the campground is IMMEDIATELY off the highway, which is convenient ... but be aware this is one of the main highways to Estes Park and there WILL be traffic noise. The entrance is also on a bend, so pull out onto the highway decisions will need to made quickly! Our full hookup site backed up to the Big Thompson River, which was a lovely mountain stream. The site was reasonably level, and there are restroom and shower facilities available to campers. There is also a surprisingly well stocked store located on the grounds, which services travelers and a number of full-time and/or full-season residents who you will share the campground with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Riverview and would recommend it. It's convenient location - halfway between Loveland, CO and Estes Park / Rocky Mountain National Park - made it a great choice for us as we like to dump our coach and go exploring from there. And there are PLENTY of places to explore from this location.

First off the staff is absolutely amazing!! I’ve never had such great interactions with staff. Very impressed!! Campsite was great! Bathroom and showers were very clean and I loved how they had the option for individual bathroom/showers and community bathroom/showers.

The hot showers were a plus and restroom were well maintained. Our tent site was somewhat private for being in a RV campsite. It would be nice if their was a close electrical outlet for the tent campers. Campground is close to many activities around the town. 25-50 min away. Also (tent campers), put away your food in the car. My partner and I woke up at 3am to family of Racoons eating our pets food and trying to get into our containers. Sadly they were successful.

I love tent camping here friendly staff. Restroom and bathhouse very well maintained and it’s not far Estes Park and The Rocky Mountain if you’re looking to explore and hike there would definitely recommend this place

Beautiful setting on the Big Thompson River, sites are clean and shaded with fire rings, picnic tables, water and electric. Lovely maintained paths for dog walking. Employees are friendly, helpful and professional. Conveniently located near Estes Park and Horsetooth Reservoir. Loved my stay here and plan to return whenever I’m in the area.

The RV park itself is mostly suitable for RVs. We were camping with a tent and the experience was not as expected. First, the tent sites are located very far from shower and restroom facilities (which tent occupants need mostly). By the way, the hand-soap dispenser was empty and not refilled throughout our 5 nights there. The sites are on grass that is also used for dog-owners so, well... you get the idea. Then, the tent sites have practically zero shade - there are plenty of trees, just not where the tents are. Overall the experience was disappointing.

This campground will be amazing when complete. However, due to the construction the laundry was closed and there was only 1 male shower and restroom and 1 female shower and restroom available. Had I know this, I probably would have chosen a different site. And I still paid full price...

When we arrived we were escorted to our site, shown where all hookups were, explained camp rules, told where to find bathhouses and office hours, if we needed extra help. Completely welcomed and felt quite comfortable on our FIRST camping adventure!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There are mostly full time rv's here. The bathroom / bath house is about a 5 minute walk from the camp sites. We had the field all to our self and it was a magical spot.

Friendly, helpful staff. Location was convenient to Estes Park and RMNP. The river is also very accessible and saw lots of kids tubing. Lots of amenities for kids. Bathrooms were well maintained. Tent sites are near a tree line so you get shade during the afternoon. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are in that area.

Tent camping was an absolute joy at Riverview RV Park. The tent areas were very clean and well groomed. The plots were nice and flat which made sleeping a dream. The hot showers and flushable toilets on site were cleaned well. Having an onsite store was very convenient and they were stocked with essentials you may have left home. This was a great site for first time campers looking to ease into camping and experience a more “glamping” experience.

This was a great place to stay! Falling asleep to the sound of the river each night was so calming and peaceful. I drove to Rocky Mountain National Park every day — it was about a 45-minute drive, totally worth it for all the hiking and views. After long days on the trails, it was amazing to come back and have a hot shower. The site was quiet, relaxing, and had everything I needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a base near the park!

I am usually a state park RV camper knowing you have to get Summer reservations six months in advance. So when my daughter and kids wanted to book a trip with me in June with only a month’s notice, I turned to Hipcamp for help and found RiverviewRV available with full hookups. We were all delighted to find shady cotton wood trees, the cool Big Thompson River rushing beside us and a perfect central grassy playground right in front of our trailers. The kids didn’t need any other entertainment than playing with their new friends every day. Walking the dog was also pleasant on the camp property. The trail beside the River is refreshing and a mowed path along the back fence line was a walk I looked forward to morning and evening. We also appreciated the daily staff attention to the facilities and the amenities of WiFi, delivery of pine wood to build a fire and ice, ice cream treats and s’mores available at the camp store. Laundry was handy on site and when we needed supplies, Safeway and Jax was only four miles away, Walmart and Sam’s a little further into Loveland. The camp was great and the whole town of Loveland with its lake was beautiful. Overall, the camp had quite a mountain feel and we will look back on a relaxing week. We’ll be planning to return for future campouts in our travel trailers.

Loved this place so much!!! Beautiful locale nestled next to the river, has the cutest little camp store, pavilion for live music, a dog park, clean bathrooms/showers and more. The vibes were awesome and staff were super friendly and welcoming. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be back.

River Sites - 72'
I knew the sites were close together when I booked however these are on top of each other! The entire park is shaded nicely with Cottonwood trees. I am allergic so I was miserable! The dog park is nice, native weed bed and a good size, in the shade. The waste container is not well maintained and it stinks all the time. I smelled sewer smells off and on during our stay. The river was running fast and high, that was really nice to listen to. Over all it was ok for our agenda which was 4 wheeling. This is not a site I would like to hang out and spend my time, too crowded and cramped. Never met camp host which was fine we are self sufficient and I like not being hassled or checked up on. Thanks all in all it was ok

Riverview RV is a number 1!

Loved loved loved camping at Riverview campground. The campground was such a friendly environment. Walking along the riverbank was such an adventure, seeing the birds playing. The river itself was beautiful and calming. The other campers were friendly, and respectful. The bathrooms and showers were Very CLEAN (just like home). The office staff was friendly, funny and helpful as well.
