This was a great place and I’m definitely coming back! We were just passing through so we did t get to take advantage of all the cool stuff they offer. They did have a dinner which was very good and we met some new people.

This is a warm and welcoming hostel in a motel setting. Great communal spaces. Happy, friendly staff and guests. What's not to love? For Van Campers, there are a few small spaces that can be a tight fit to squeeze into if you're over 20' long.

Staff were exceptionally welcoming and provided itinerary of their nighttime social activities in advance to ensure we could participate if desired. There was also a warm, welcoming vibe from the other guests and we enjoyed chatting with them in the outdoor social spaces.

This was a great option! Erin is super nice and welcoming! The outdoor area was amazing and I wish I had more time to spend there. The bathroom was in good condition!

The place, itself is well set up and clean—organized and colorful. Lots of sketchy folks walking Nevada Ave (all the time…) and in the area, but Rad was great. Communal locations were cozy and welcoming. Great price and activities. I’d recommend it—they put a lot of work into the place and it shows

An excellent value if you are car camping or have a tiny trailer. You have everything you need- toilet, showers and they even make you pancakes on the weekend in the shared kitchen and dining area. The staff are great and the location is perfect for day trips around Colorado Springs. Highly recommended!

I booked a van spots for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly, everything was clean and well taken care of. I especially loved the patio where I spent as much time as I could. I was worried it would be loud with lots of people here but it's such a quiet and relaxing place. The other guests were great as well.

We got one of the RV/Van sites, so I can’t comment on the rooms. Check in was super easy, Erin greeted us at the front office and gave us a tour. For being on a somewhat busy road, it was very quiet at night. The common areas were nice and clean, and there was ample outdoor seating space and plenty to do. Foosball table, slack line, corn hole and plenty of board games. There is a free cereal and fruit breakfast, and on Saturday’s, pancakes. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back if we’re ever in the area!

It’s pretty small. You have to have a trailer or van no more than 23 feet. The amenities were good. It was a little too close to town for me. But Erin was very accommodating.

The RAD hostel never disappoints. Lots of bonfires at night, pancakes on the weekends and occasional yoga. We also enjoy the convenience of staying here when we come through Colorado Springs.

Our stay at the RAD hostel could not have been better. Everyone was extremely kind and inviting, a strong community vibe. I couldn't believe the amenities that were offered for such a low cost. We parked our van outside with no problem, took a shower and washed clothes. it was quiet. I would definitely recommend Erin's place to anyone traveling through Colorado Springs. Thank you to all the staff at RAD.

I was travelling in my van here through Colorado Springs, no parking and sleeping in cars is posted everywhere that might seem likely including Walmart. So I googled campgrounds and it was my lucky day. Surprisingly there are a bunch of accomodation options at the RAD Hostel —which appears to be an re-purposed small motel with about 20 extremely reasonably priced rooms (from dorm rooms to private rooms to van parking. I had easyaccess to hot showers for the people in vans ; a communal lounge with a tv; a kitchen to fix a meal; refrigerator to keep stuff cold and free hot coffee, tea, milk, cereal, fruit, toast/bread, and Pb and jelly. everything was immaculate and comfortable. SVery thoughtfully decorated in so many ways. Beyond that the night I was there happened to be bonfire and some mores night in the large back yard of the place. Fire pit, hammock, chairs and hanging chairs out of the trees. There was an employee who built. And stoked the fire and he was a warm and personal welcoming committe and acting host. I was amazed i felt the warmth inside and out here. And I connected with other travellers as we relaxed around the fire. There was a covered patio overlooking the back yard, again comfortable seating, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and spotlessly clean that I used for reading and organizing myself in the morning. And the employees and service— that too I found amazing—Friendly, helpful, respectful. This was a piece of serendipity

The outside area of RAD is perfect and it was so nice having access to the restroom and kitchen amenities. We loved being able to sit outside in the comfy seating area. It is on a main road, so there is road noise, but nothing a white noise app didn't help drown out. The only down side was the $25 pet fee for my dog. I get pet fees for hotels and pay them often, but to pay a pet fee when camping in our own camper was interesting.

Super cool spot to spend some time. I stayed in the RV/Van spot and there was plenty of space. It’s 4 regular sized parking spots next to each other. Backyard area is awesome although I didn’t get a chance to hang there. That said I will 100% be coming back with a few friends for a longer stay.

I stayed in my van with my little dog at the hostel. 4 parking spots tucked in the back for camper vans. Quiet at night and slept well. Great vibe, nice outdoor area with sectional sofa on the patio with mountain view and yard below. Super friendly staff and I would stay there again if in the area.

Everything about this place that they could actually control was great. The lounges were well stocked and clean. They had activities going on. Everyone was super friendly. They had games and comfy seating all around. When we first pulled up, I felt an immediate feeling of panic because there were homeless people out front and all over the sides of the location. I immediately thought to go someplace else and just forget about the money but, there was a marathon in town and many campgrounds were completely full. We figured we’d just watch our daughter like a hawk and keep everything locked tight at all times. I’m fairly certain there was at least one homeless man sleeping like 2 feet away from the front of our car. I heard moaning after nightfall and did my best to keep my daughter from hearing it. Their fence is covered with a cloth and I’m guessing I wouldn’t want to see what was on the other side of it. I realize they cannot control this and did whatever they could to hide it but, it was unsettling and I didn’t feel safe there with a child. The only thing I’ll say that was slightly negative is that the parking spots for campers are right next to all the outdoor areas and they had a young 20 something crowd that was loud until pretty late. They were not obnoxious but, it was difficult to sleep before midnight or so.

The van/Rv spot is just parking spaces near the back of the property. I thought there was plenty of room. The area was pretty quiet with having a main road nearby. The facility was clean and enjoyed everyone’s company. I’d stay again.

We stayed at the RAD Hostel in our camper van. We didn't need any hookups, just a safe place to park for the night and a shower. We showered, washed our dishes in the 24 hr lounge, and enjoyed a quiet dinner on the beautiful patio. Erin and the staff were great and the hostel tenants were eclectic and interesting. We will definitely be back!
