I am so grateful that Eric is sharing a bit of his heaven. I grew up on a small farm in Poland , so sounds of chickens , or goats , is something I am used to. Maggie (the pig) visited us in the morning , sadly we missed her, so she decided to leave a little souvenir 💩 in front of the stairs to show she was there 😂 That made me laugh so hard, and again brought back the memories , when I was on poop scooping duty 😂 you stay on a farm , so be prepared for that kind of thing and do not complain. I personally loved everything about this property, and I can also easily say that I made friends with horses.
Couldn’t stop petting the goats , and simply enjoying the simplicity of that kind of life. I totally recommend this place for those who appreciate farm living!

Affordable, quiet, and stunning sunsets! The horses were SO SWEET, we miss them already. Host Eric is very attentive and replies quickly to anything you need. We didnt use the firepit, but it was such a nice touch to the campsite. Be sure to bring a fly swatter and extra rags if it rains (for the mud.) Would DEFINITELY return!

Alone? Yes. You get to park in a small area - that's got pig waste all over it. You, your pet’s and anyone else gets to track it into your rv. If you like doing nothing, this is your place.

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend. We loved that Maddie came to our door our first morning. All the animals were so sweet and social. Eric was a great host.

We had a wonderful RV stay here! All the hookups worked perfectly, and the views were absolutely beautiful. The location was super convenient—an easy drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder, and Denver. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and we especially appreciated that the site was pet-friendly. It was peaceful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Quiet and great service. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area! 🌲🚐🐾

Exactly as described and pictured on Hipcamp. Very relaxing watching the horses. Plenty of room. Close enough to stores but quiet and private at his site. Eric was always quick to respond and very accommodating when we needed to borrow a ladder for our awning.

My family and I stayed recently for two nights at the end of April 2025 and what a great set up! You have the view of the mountains, and a few friendly farm animal in arms reach. Our two littles loved it! The host was very friendly, communicative, helpful and accommodating. Great option to mix things up over a traditional private campground. You have your own tiny farm with water and electric hookup. Highly recommend!

Very well maintained property, with an added cavoite of farm life. Horses, goats and Maddie the Pig surround the site. Beautiful views of the Northern Colorado Front Range. Very quite and tucked away from the city.

Beautiful spot with expansive lovely views. Very nice camping spot. Eric was a great host very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Maddie the pig was a favorite highlight as she randomly wandered into camp! Really hope to go back.

The animals are great our dogs loved playing outside and watching them. Eric was quick to greet us upon arrival and answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

we had a great stay Eric greeted us recommended orientation that worked perfectly. my dog sat out front and enjoyed all his horses and goats. i almost took the pig home with us she was so sweet just didn’t have the room. easy in and out directions worked great,

This stay was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy was great and the quiet was perfect. The goats, horses, and Maddie the pig added the cherry on top of a great stay. Host is very responsive and incredibly helpful for things to do around Berthoud!

What a cute camping spot, smack in the middle of lots of farm animals! About 1 minute after we arrived, Maddie, the pig, came out to greet us. She got there before the host, Eric, drove up on his golf cart. ;D
The goats and horses were very friendly too. The mountains in the distance were stunning - a beautiful view to wake up to.
Eric was quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was away from the grind, but close enough to stores and restaurants - so it was very convenient.
Only a BEAUTIFUL hour's drive from Rocky Mountain National Park - a must see! Highly recommend this HIPCAMP location.

Wonderful experience!! We stayed 3 nights and hope to return again. The animals are fun to interact with and the mountain views are amazing. Electricity and water at sight. RV dump station 5 minutes away at Loves Truck Stop. Location is close to the city, but also far enough away that it offers the peace and quiet of the country.
