Beautiful, comfortable accommodations and very genuine and helpful hosts. We had a wonderful anniversary trip and Monument is a wonderful area to visit and explore. Thank you for some wonderful memories.

We had a great trip great trip the weather was good even the storm the last night did not lessen the good time. When we needed a new tank of propane it was brought real quick. The stream was not good for fishing, but the beavers and geese were great to watch while I took in nature and let the stress from work go. Even my dog Abby enjoyed a short dip there. Okay-False advertisement.

Creekside Tent Pad

This place was not as advertised.. We weren’t too impressed and they advertised that a propane fire pit would be available at site.. there was no fire pit and there was no tent pad. It was a complete bust. We ended up sleeping in our car.. basically paid $75 to park our car on the property.. The positive, great spot for star gazing, we saw 2 shooting stars in a span of 20 minutes.

This isn't Glamping or Camping.

The entire area has been developed with homes. It feels like it is being deceitful that they don't show it in the pictures.

Incredibly Disappointing

Our experience was incredibly disappointing. Instead of a peaceful retreat in nature, we found ourselves in someone’s backyard with the “view” being newly built tract homes, which offered a variety of construction sounds throughout the day. They were quite meticulous with the angles of the sites to hide the fact that you were simply in their backyard next to other houses, a power line and a water waste facility. The "creek" was a huge letdown, and to top it off, trains passed all through the night, keeping us awake. We all tried our best to be optimistic and enjoy our time since we had been looking forward to it. As well as paid $450. It was so bad that we ended up leaving after the first night. The cherry on top was the bad communication. We messaged the host with a simple question about the bathroom, and it took them 24 hours to respond. When we messaged them again to say we were disappointed and leaving early, they didn’t respond at all. The yerts were nice, the homemade wine was pleasant and friendly cats were the highlight of the trip (though I’m not sure people with allergies would agree), but the overall experience felt deceitful. The photos need to be updated to reflect the reality of the location. I’m not sure how new the development is but it’s unacceptable not to be upfront about it. I’m very suspicious that no other review talks about these things

The tent was nice the bed seemed nice but the location is not that nice you are overlooked by a suburb. We ended not staying the night since we were so disappointed with the location.

"Big Red" Tiny Home

Had a great solo trip and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the tiny house "big red". Had everything I needed so I could relax and enjoy myself. The bed was very comfy, there was a couch with a chaise attached and even an office space if I wanted to work on anything. The shower had great water pressure and I didn't use the kitchen, but it has anything I would have needed to cook. The property was quiet and I enjoyed sitting on the deck in evening. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to get away and enjoy nature but not rough it.

Jaw dropping unbelievable

Absolutely amazing individuals, father and son glamping and I would recommend to anyone who will listen. The host were amazing and were a very helpful. It was fully packed. We got the last one and I’m glad we did! It looked like each tent had something a little special. Not to mention private on-site, bathrooms with working showers and toilets amazing. We got the still tub in the enclosed outside area and it was every bit of romantic and amazing. They had propane for sale and they had working heaters for the tent, so it never got cold lights worked and you had outlets also had your privacy far away from the home . The river was really that close! My dog was thrilled with the kitty on site and we woke up to dears right outside our tent!!! and we loved every bit of it. thank you so much for, this amazing experience. Please have a wonderful time here!

We had a great time camping in the Sunshine tent. It was super comfy, private, and just what we needed to get away for a quick stay. The tub was also a really fun addition. Highly recommend!

This was my first glamping experience so I was a little nervous at first, but the atmosphere and view is amazing. I would definitely come back for a relaxing getaway, it’s also a good place to stay while exploring what the area has to offer. The site is super clean and family friendly with wonderful hosts who just leave you to it, but are available for any help you need. The tent’s set up with everything you need for glampng! If you’re thinking about going I say do it!

This campsite was gorgeous and our every need was catered to! We got there and realized we didn’t have propane and Chris dropped some on our porch 10 minutes later. Couldn’t recommend enough, we’ll be back!

Great communication and easy to find! We camp all the time but it was so nice to come to a set up tent with a comfy bed! The toilet situation is extremely smooth and such a neat concept. Great location to explore trails in Palmer Lake/ Monument area or pop down to Springs for the day.

I enjoyed my overnight stay at Chris and Wendy’s Monument Creek Glamping property. The “Beauty” creekside Bell Tent was nestled next to a slow meandering creek where I enjoyed watching dragonflies and songbirds. Very relaxing nature getaway without a long drive time!

Great place to rest and relax. We had a homemade bottle of wine that was waiting for us and the place was cozy and sweet. Wine was good too! We saw deer a couple of times and ducks in the creek. There was a black cat that was roaming around. My husband is allergic to cats so I had to walk with it away from our tent and it followed me. Very sweet cat. The bed was comfy. Glad we had brought our extra blankets because it got down to 50 at night. Not a lot of bugs too which was great for us city folk lol.

As first time glampers we had a great overall experience. Chris and Wendy are great host. My teenage son and toddler loved the out door bath set up outside the tent. If you looking for a nearby place when visiting monument lake I recommend it. Bathroom and shower super clean. Downsides: (1)Wish some of the vegetation was cleared out by about 18" in order to make it more difficult for critters to come inside the tent (2) Creek is only accessible through other glampers campsites. In order to respect their privacy another access should be available for other glampers. (3) Simple rotating fan would be nice during the hot summer days .

Best glamping experience

We Loved glamping on Chris and Wendy's property. The highlights definitely were the string lights, the soaking tub with hot and or cold water, the grill for grilling up some good steaks for dinner, seeing a few deer walk by and our own private bathhouse. They were super helpful in having an ice chest there for us to use, since we flew in. They communicated very well, and responded very quickly to our questions. It was a beautiful, quiet place to spend time with the Lord in nature. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to vacation in the Colorado springs area. We will definitely be back if we have the opportunity to do so.

"Classic" Container Home

Enjoyed our one night stay while traveling in Colorado. The container home was super comfy and clean! We enjoyed sitting on the porch with the fire and outdoor tub. The container home was set up perfectly so you felt like you had your own private area!
