The place is set in a gorgeous area, trails near the home and an easy drive into Basalt or Carbondale if you choose. The Domicile itself if fantastic. It’s perfect for 2 adults. Candace was a great host. Took care of any issues we had and suggested a great hike for us to get married.

Very fun set-up! We are usually tent campers, so this was a big step up. Amazing views of an Aspen grove! We walked to the Thomas Lakes trailhead from the campsite (Candace provided great directions), which was an incredible hike. Felt very safe with the fence around the perimeter. Instructions for the toilet were inside the camper, so stop in first before heading to the bathroom 😃. Hot plate took a little while to warm up, so just be patient!

A cute tiny house in an absolutely gorgeous part of Colorado. Candace was a stellar host and incredibly welcoming. Be sure to explore some of the surrounding hikes if you are a fan of wildflowers or mountain biking!

Campy was AWESOME! Great spot for a weekend away from Denver. I usually tent camp so this was a nice change of pace for the weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Campy! It was private, tucked away, and Candace's yard offers a beautiful, short hike. I was only disappointed to find out most of the appliances in Campy weren't working (the oven, the stove). We purchased food expecting to be able to oven cook and were a bit thrown off. The dishes were also a bit sticky from the last stay, but aside from that, we very much enjoyed our time at Campy and will be back, for sure!!!

Thank you Candace! It’s an amazing little spot- perfect location to do anything in the great outdoors! Far enough away for everything but close enough to stores if you need something. Camper was very comfortable for two and pet friendly. Camper had everything we needed.

Great host and cute place. Clean linens and clean camper. It’s pretty far out there, but not so big of a deal. Campy is next to a long driveway to the host’s house. I would have expected to see/ hear almost no one. However, there were vehicles up and down the driveway through 11:30 PM at night and very early in the morning. We crashed early because we had early plans the next day, so early morning traffic didn’t bother me so much. Headlights in the windows until late did though.
Overall I would recommend. Just understand it’s not as secluded as you may want. Again, the host is great and very helpful with all questions I had.

Staying at Campy was wonderful! The drive into Campy was lovely, with amazing views of Mt. Sopris. This vintage trailer is adorable, and very well stocked with kitchen essentials, linens, outdoor fireplace + firewood, etc. Candace lives just up the hill and was very helpful + welcoming throughout my stay. Campy feels very private and secluded, nestled along the edge of the forest. There is an electric fence which provides some added protection from wildlife and surrounds the entire outdoor living space, Campy and the outdoor toilet/shower. I actually saw a black bear while hiking, but slept like a baby knowing the electric fencing was in place. I hiked right from Campy + thru Candace's yard, up a trail that connected to a forest service road to White River National Forest and a few alpine lakes. Seeing the bear along this road was no doubt exciting, but was also a good reminder to stay alert, safe and prepared in bear country. You can drive directly to Dinkle Lake for kayaking, paddle boarding, lake side picnics, or park and hike to the more secluded Thomas Lakes. All in all, I really enjoyed my time at Campy and will be back!
