The Camping Cabin sleeps a maximum of 2. Bring your own linens. There is a queen-size bed with a real mattress and a mini fridge. Per fire code there is no cooking allowed inside the cabin. The cabin has a TV, A/C, and heat. There are no facilities, it is just a sleeping cabin. There are two bathroom/shower houses in the park. This is a non-smoking cabin. There is a maximum of two pets. Pets left alone must be in a hard sided crate. Outside there is a picnic table. Parking is limited to one vehicle and no trailers. If you are traveling with extra vehicles, or any type of trailer, space availability is limited and is not guaranteed. The Family Cabin Lodge sleeps a maximum of 6 and features a full bathroom. Linens are provided based on the number of people on the reservation. For a glamping experience the cabin offers starter amenities that include coffee pods, paper towels, toilet tissue, bath and hand soap. The park has a coin operated self-service laundry if linens need to be refreshed. There are stores nearby and the office has some supplies for sale. There is a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bunk room that sleeps 2. In the main area there is a futon that folds into a double-size bed, a TV, a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, there is no cookware or eating utensils. The cabin has A/C and heat. Outside on the patio is a propane grill and deck furniture. This is a non-smoking cabin. NO PETS allowed. Parking is limited to one vehicle and no trailers. The Premium Cabin offers another level of comfort and sleeps a maximum of 4. Linens are provided based on the number of people on the reservation. For a glamping experience the Premium Cabin offers starter amenities that include coffee pods, paper towels, dish soap, toilet tissue, bath and hand soap. The park has a coin operated self-service laundry if linens need to be refreshed. There are stores nearby and the office has some supplies for sale. There is a double-size bed in a separate room and a 3/4 bathroom. The main room has a kitchenette, a TV, and a futon that folds to a double-size bed. The kitchenette has a small cook-top, pots and pans, plates and silverware, a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and table with chairs. The cabin has A/C and heat. Outside there is even a front porch swing. This is a non-smoking cabin. NO PETS allowed. Parking is limited to one vehicle and no trailers. Rustic Cabin (Sleeps 2)
I stayed in the basic cabin (ie, the fancy shed). It was perfect, one queen bed, two twin bunks, ac, heat, ceiling fan and a light. The sites are a little close together but I was not spending the summer so not a big deal, I was there to sleep after spending the day at mesa verde. The grounds and restroom/shower was very neat and clean. I would definitely stay again. There is definitely road noise but as you can see from the posting, they are next to a major road. It was not a big deal in the cabin as I had windows closed as the temps were pretty cool.

Nice Campground outside of Durango

We were traveling in a truck camper and booked a tent site, thinking we could just park the truck in the parking space that comes with the tent site. They said we needed an RV site and graciously switched us right away. The campground setup is really nice with lots of trees. It has some nice amenities including a heated swimming pool! The staff is so friendly and we lucked out because they were offering a free full breakfast while we were there. All in all, it is a very nice campground and we would definitely go back.
