The Aspen Grove Cabin is perfect for those looking for an authentic Colorado cabin experience. Our cabin is located in Drake Colorado deep in the woods of storm mountain just 38 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. When you close your eyes and think of what a cabin in the mountains should be, our cabin is just that! located on six acres with a variety of terrain from a large aspen grove, lodge Pole pines and a beautiful lush valley. (2 night minimum) This is due to our limited seasonal rental window and the costs to maintaining a remote off grid cabin. You work hard and deserve at least 2 days to decompress from the modern world....maybe more! The cabin is 288 square feet with a loft, kitchen and dining area. It's fully off grid...oh yeah the power poles don't come anywhere near this place! The cabin has solar power, thermostatically controlled gas heat, range and refrigerator. The kitchen has water and for the call of the wild there is a clean outhouse with attached wash house great for freshening up, washing hands Etc. (no shower) Sleeping accommodations include a queen size bed and futon. Limited cell phone service, a short hike over to the old miners cabin next to the road usually provides cell signal for calls and texting. There is no internet connection at the cabin but you will find a better connection with people here! Getting away from the electronic world should be at the top of your list of why you would choose this location. It's a magical place to decompress clear your head and simply enjoy some good company! About the drive... It's 18 minutes off Highway 43. On a winding dirt road with some exciting switchbacks! 2 wheel drive vehicles will do fine most days. Just take it nice and slow and you'll be there in no time. We are thrilled to be able to share this unique property with you.

Gem of a cabin in the Rocky Mountains. Very comfortable space with refrigerator/ stove / and grill. Had lots of high quality family time. Would gladly stay again!

Aspen Grove Cabin

Perfect property! It is exactly how it describes. Hosts are communicative and make sure you’re ready before you even get there. Lots to explore and nobody to see! Enjoyed our day at RMNP and the town of Estes and thoroughly enjoyed coming back to enjoy our evenings in the cabin. I have already recommended this place to friends. Thank you! We will be back.

Love this cozy cabin in the trees!

Aspen Grove Cabin

This is a dry cabin that has been converted and the craftsman(woman) ship is amazing! The cozy setting nestled in the trees makes for a wonderful get away. Hiking and animal viewing in RMNP was amazing and so was returning to the cabin! To top it off, the stars were magnificent. There is a clearing in the trees, and it was perfectly dark, so the Milky Way was visible and at 5am the constellation Orion was glowing. What a treat! Thank you for sharing your amazing cabin in the woods.
