Wildhaven Yosemite offers glamping tents and cabins on a beautiful property with mountain views in Mariposa, CA, just outside Yosemite National Park. Our glamping experience provides the comfort, cleanliness, and customer service of a hotel while keeping everything you love about a night outdoors in nature. Our extra-large, safari-style tents feature comfortable beds with linens, electricity, heaters, and all the furnishings needed for a memorable night outdoors. Looking for a little more structure in your night outdoors? Our larger glamping cabins provide a kitchenette, bathroom & shower, AC and heating, improved sound insulation, upgraded views, large windows, and a private patio to get you the fresh air you need. Your stay includes more than just a comfortable place to sleep. Guests are treated to hiking trails, communal spaces to socialize, trip planning help, Wi-Fi, and on-site activities such as yoga, wine tasting, and live music (spring through fall). The 36-acre hillside property is the star attraction, providing sweeping views towards the snow-capped Sierra Nevadas, down onto scenic Mariposa, and across miles of rolling hills.

Its advantage over the CLASSIC CABIN 1 BEDROOM is the upgraded view: These south-facing cabins bring in more light and offer wide-open views across a valley filled with 2,000 acres of rolling hills (no other tents/cabins/cars in sight). This location also offers better views of sunrise and sunset. The 2 twin mattresses in the loft are for children only, linens are included. A 3rd twin can be set up in the loft to accommodate a 3rd child. Great campsite near Yosemite. Very close to the cutest town of Mariposa; highly recommended stopping by The Grove House for food, drinks, and live music - check their events schedule. Our tent was very comfortable and warm at night thanks to a heater. The safari tents aren’t completely sealed from bugs so bring spray if you’re sensitive. Our tent was closer to the road so you could hear a lot of car noise but didn’t bother us at all during the night since much less traffic. Great amenities. Cute general store, large gas fire pit that seemed to be on all night, and nice bathrooms, showers, and sinks for any dish washing. Can’t wait until our next visit! Our daughter slept great and had the best time!

I had never glamped or stayed somewhere like this before, it was so comfortable and beautiful. Bathrooms were centrally located, clean, and had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion available. I loved that there were towels provided in the tent and laundry hampers in the bathroom/shower areas as well. The heated mattress pad was wonderful, between that and the space heater I slept like a baby. The only thing missing was a chocolate on the pillow and a foot rub (obviously I’m kidding).

Camping at Wildhaven was wonderful! You get access to beautiful views, small hikes, very clean hot showers and flushable toilets. The only downfall is that if you are sensitive to noise you might want to use the earplugs that they provide you with or bring your own. The campsite is really close to the main highway so you can hear cars zoom by regularly. We didn’t mind it though, we still enjoyed our stay.

Wildhaven is a true gem for anyone seeking a glamping experience that combines the beauty of nature with comfort and convenience. One of the highlights of our stay was how dog-friendly Wildhaven is. We brought our two pups, Iris and Freya, and they were welcomed with open arms. The property provided plenty of space for them to explore, and we appreciated the little touches, like dog-friendly amenities and the staff’s genuine care for their needs. It can be hard to find places that truly accommodate pets, but Wildhaven exceeded our expectations. Our dogs were as happy and relaxed as we were! The glamping tents are spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with cozy beds and thoughtful touches that made our stay feel special. We appreciated the little heater provided, as well as the heated blankets in our beds. We loved having a private deck with our own fire pit to relax on and to take in the stunning views of the rolling hills and many trees. It was the perfect spot for enjoying smores by the fire at night. The amenities were always clean and spacious. With sinks, bbqs, private or communal bathrooms of your choice. We also enjoyed hiking on the property itself, which offered trails perfect for a peaceful walk or a more invigorating trek up the hill for an overlook of Mariposa. The location couldn’t be better. It’s a short drive to Yosemite National Park, making it a perfect basecamp for day trips to explore the breathtaking scenery. We will be back!

This property is beautiful and I did enjoy myself. The town of Mariposa is cute and the locals are welcoming. It is a 45-50 minute drive to the gates of Yosemite. I went last week and it was extremely hot in Mariposa. They do provide you with a small fan but it did not help and I had a hard time sleeping both nights. If I had to do it again I would stay closer to the park and at an air conditioned hotel for the price that I paid.

After looking at several places around Yosemite, my wife and I decided to stay at Wildhaven Yosemite. We stayed in one of the premium tents 🏕️. The bed was really comfortable, it had a little dining table for two and a private deck with a propane fire pit to stay warm or make s'mores and power outlets. The community as a whole was beautiful , awesome place to relax and disconnect. The bathhouse was nice and clean, as well as the area where you can wash your dishes. We loved the little area in top of the hill where they had two fire pits , the view at sunset its gorgeous. Would definitely visit again.

Love this place for so many reasons! An excellent balance of camping with solid creature comfort amenities. The canvas tents were awesome! I stayed in one of the premium tents. They well constructed, high quality materials, and a clean finish. WiFi was fast and stable, I was even able to take a couple work video calls. The bathrooms and dish cleaning area were immaculate. Big props here The grounds were well kept, the layout of the property was well designed, and I loved the group bonfire pit and the star lookout pergola at the top of the hill. And the proximity to Yosemite made it a great home base for our NP adventures. It looks like this place is new - and I’ve got to say they’re doing it right. The staff and folks running it were super kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay here and would def be back.

Everything was great! We stayed here during our time in Yosemite and it was such a lovely time. The campsite is well-kept, including clean bathrooms. In late August, the fan came in handy at night, though we would have bene fine without it. Would definitely recommend!

This property was wonderful, was really a unique place to stay heading into Yosemite National Park. It is very safari feeling, has all the key amenities needed, and a lovely staff! There's plenty of shaded areas amongst the cabins, the view of the rolling hills is gorgeous, and the stargazing was impeccable. For how many people there were, I was pleasantly surprised by the quietness at night. I really enjoyed getting to spend a little time with the staff and looking forward to the improvements and initiatives that are underway!

Un endroit qui sort de l’ordinaire. L’endroit était bien entretenu, encore en développements. Les tentes sont accessibles par quelques escaliers et un sentier de terre. Bénol : les BBQ mis à la disposition des campeurs fonctionnait mal. Très chaud début août mais avec le ventilateur on pouvait aérer un peu le soir venu. Bien situé très près du village de Mariposa. Accueil chaleureux.

Despite the crazy rain, this place was beautiful and the accommodations were lovely. The bed kept me warm with the heating pad and it was comfortable. It is on the firmer side of memory foam mattresses. The pillows were like clouds. I wanna buy that same kind! The small heater wasn’t super helpful to stay warm, but it did help. The wind did bring is some cold air in the small areas that were not fully closed. Tiny openings in the canvas tent and floor. Just bring layers. I was fine in layers. It was clean. Cute. Nice touches like charging table with included charging cables. The firepit was effective and nice and warm. It was just a super cold night so I didn’t stay out long. The stargazing was amazing. Truly so clear. This tent doesn’t have a big view fyi. It overlooks the restrooms, but direct, but you don’t have much direct view but still surrounded in trees. I couldn’t walk the grounds much due to it being muddy and rainy, but the restroom and shower are was INCREDIBLE!! Had a great shower with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and towels included. Honestly this was a great first stay while they still doing construction! Will come back! Keep in mind you are close to others and the road. There will be some noise. But was quiet at night for sleep.
