We only spent one night here but would have happily stayed for longer. It was mid winter so we had the whole place to ourselves. The views over the lake were stunning. Each site was comfortable and the bathrooms were excellent

We visited in the off season on our way east. It was really beautiful and we slept well in our camper van despite the proximity to the road. Also the bathroom was such a treat (hot water, private shower) after multiple campgrounds. Also really appreciated the clear signage, the picnic tables, garbage, etc. Very thoughtful design.

The entire camp was amazing…very clean facilities, easy access to roomy campsites, and huge docks to sit out over the lake…trees for shade and full hookups! Loved our visit and the sunset colors over the lake were epic

I loved tent camping at Topaz Lake. Make sure to pack a bunch of warm blankets if you go in early November. Pam was a great host and super helpful and responsive. The location is close to groceries, Reno, and a bunch of national parks. Highly recommend visiting and checking this place out. Best part of the trip was not just the amazing view of the lake but also how clean the facilities are. Really good spot.

I love that it is first come. The view is breathtaking. The directions were perfect. It was soooo quiet at night. I would love to come back and spend more time and go swimming.

Great Spot. We had site #1. Right on the lake. Plenty of shade. Pam was quick to respond to my many questions. The shower facilities were clean and close to our site. Even though you’re right by the highway, I didn’t feel the traffic noise was bothersome.

Pam and Frank were wonderful hosts.
Our site was great, overlooking Topaz Lake.
We made last minute reservations and Pam was on it, communicating with us, making sure we were greeted and that we had a great experience. They take great care of their guests and the property as well.
We booked it just as a layover, but will be back to make it our destination.

We booked upon arrival and tent camped for one night. We l thoroughly enjoyed our time. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean as well as the entire site. We bought ice for $3 which was convenient. the site came with a fire pit a picnic table and hookups for water and RV electric hookup. We used the kayaks next day to enjoy the water before checking out. 10/10 experience

We got the perfect spot it's at the edge and a little bit distance from other sites and the view is beautiful! bathroom is very clean. and Pam is very nice she even provide us some fire woods. we love it there. definitely will come back.

The spots are really nice, with privacy and right on the water! Sunrise was beautiful. Pam and her husband are lovely. Welcoming and helpful. Bathrooms are spotless. It was wonderful!

A nice getaway an hour from home

A little tricky to find, look for the Topaz Resort sign, it’s small, pass it and you’ve got several miles before you could turn a trailer around. Once there, it was a jewel of a spot.
The owners had done extensive dirt work and all the sites were dry level gravel with power and water. The views were lovely ,
Access the the lake right from your campsight for swimming, fishing or boating .
We were the only campers there so it was very quiet with lots of birds and no bugs !
The restrooms immaculate as well. We will
be back!

The lake was beautiful and our spot was nice and level for our van. It was crazy windy, so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fun amenities, but the shower was super clean and nice with lots of special touches. We would definitely come back!

This place is absolutely amazing! Very clean, beautiful views, sites right on the water. We booked over Easter weekend and were the only ones there. It was heaven! Perfect weather and they provided fire wood, complimentary.

Great site, perfect midway point between southern sierra’s and Bay Area that’s very peaceful and clean. Site was a bit hard to find as the billboard says something else but you’ll figure it out. Clean bathrooms too. Just wish host was a bit more communicative but no worries, we figured it out

The spot was not what I expected and photos made it seem more secluded than it was. Also felt overpriced. $50 for a cramped spot right by the highway is not a good deal
I would save your money and go to the state park on the other side of the lake. It’s only $35 and has more room between spots and no road noise

We had a sweet and easy Saturday night in April as the only people here. We had a wonderful waterfront spot and enjoy skipping rocks and watching the pink sunset on the snowy mountains. Friendly host. All sites radically level. Very clean bathroom.
Clear lake used mainly as a fishing spot.

You can’t beat the views here. One of our favorites spots to date! We were fortunate enough to be able to meet Pam and she was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Hope to visit again!

This was one of the most beautiful spots we have ever camped in. It was so serene. Beautiful beyond words. It was cold during the time we camped but thankfully the bathrooms were nice and warm, clean as well. You get a front row seat overlooking the lake. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would love to come back.

Great camping spot! We were having a tough time finding a campground that was open late in the season (November) that had power and water, but we found what we needed here. Beautiful views of the lake as well.

We had a nice quiet stay. Unbelievable that we were the only ones camping here. Grounds are right on the lake shore. Water pressure was great. 30 amp power. No sewer hookup. We chose to setup up on site 9. Which is a peninsula jutting into the beach. It had a couple of nice shade trees and a large picnic table overlooking the lake. Great star gazing. Price was very reasonable. Thank you Pam (host).

This was a handy place for us to stop and fill up our water and charge our batteries. But this is just an RV park. There's little or no (in our case) shade and a lot of RVs picked in together. There's one small bath house but it's too hot for much use except in the morning. This place is okay, not great.
