Had an amazing stay! From the moment we pulled in I was in love! Had everything we needed to be comfortable. The night time vibes were amazing with the lighting and adorable decor. Don’t forget your warm clothes though, it was definitely colder then I expected but the heated bed made sleeping cozy!

I loved our stay here, very relaxing and just the weekend trip we needed. It was raining the day we arrived and Posey made sure we had warm blankets and towel/robe warmers when we arrived. It can get a little hot in the dome during the day and a little cold at night , but the experience was worth it. Me and my boyfriend used the fire pit every night and cooked dinner over it , and they provide so many activities to do like painting and looking through the telescope at night. Very amazing and unique experience , 10/10 recommend.

Amazing property! Everything you could need was provided. We loved our little weekend away. It was so peaceful and enjoyed every minute of it. Host was very quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. They went above and beyond and provided a towel/robe warmer and a portable heater for when the temperature dropped. The dome was super comfy and a very cool experience. We used the projector every night under the stars! Will be coming back :)

We had an amazing weekend at Campo Compound from July 5th to 7th. The host was exceptional, making our stay perfect despite a last-minute fire ban due to nearby fires. This wasn't the host’s fault but a precaution for the area. We saw fires close by, which worried us, but the beauty and comfort of the place quickly took our minds off it.
Being new to camping/glamping, we were thrilled with the quality and setup of the dome. Sleeping under the stars in a transparent dome was magical. The bathroom was spotless and fully stocked. The kitchen had a gas grill, electric grill, and air fryer. They also had board games and a projector (bring an HDMI cable as it was missing).
The dome can get hot during the day, so keep the curtains closed, but it cools down quickly as the sun sets. Despite the intense heat, we had a fantastic time. The internet was reliable, and although we couldn't use the fire pit, the gas grill was perfect for cooking. The jacuzzi was a delightful bonus.
We had a miscommunication because of timing and text messages, but it was my fault. The host was sweet and nice, saying it was just a miscommunication on their part. I felt really thankful to meet a host like this.
The host was the best we’ve ever met, constantly checking in and ensuring we had everything we needed. Their hospitality was exceptional.
If you're still thinking about it, don't hesitate. You're missing out on an amazing experience.
Highly recommend for an unforgettable glamping experience!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The grounds were so cute and clean. Sleeping in the dome was really fun. The hot tub was delightful. There were art supplies provided. My husband and I had coffee and painted in the mornings. A favorite pastime we just don’t have time for now. It was a great relaxing getaway. It’s also a 20 min drive from Jacumba hot springs which was very convenient. Thanks so much!!

This place was phenomenal. Everything about it was fantastic, the set up, design, all the artistic touches, the decor, the privacy, and all the activities provided. 10/10 would recommend, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Place was nice and well decorated but not a lot to do plus not a lot of shade so you tend to just stay inside the kitchen to cool down. We ended up going home at 4pm the next day instead of staying another night.
Host’s wife accommodated us with 2 children which she was well aware of and paid extra for both of them )7 and 2 y/o) and then wife said that husband was disappointed we are accommodated while we were there. Host Posey then messaged me 2 days after that he just checked the place and wasn’t happy of how wr left it and that we disrespected it when we made sure everything is close to how we left it. I think he was expecting it to look like no one used it. Plus only checked the place after 2 days of not being there.

Phenomenal stay! The hosts were more then acomodable and the designer of this place should be recognized. The intricate details and overall feng shui of this place is immaculate.
Sleeping under the stars with your significant other in a dome with a heated blanked, having your own personal jacuzzi right next to you. The BEAUTIFUL bathroom and rubber ducky tub.
Seriously, an amazing get-away and disconnect location. Stay mindful 😁

This was honestly an amazing stay! There were plenty of different things to do that Posey provided. There was painting, a telescope, a bunch of board games, and even a projector for movie nights. We had a great time!

We are def coming back to Campo Campground! Exactly like the pictures, even better! My boyfriend and i wanted to do a two day trip and came across campo. They had everything we needed and had exactly everything listed. The smokeless firepit was great for cooking. We had fun with the provided canvases and paint along with the card games. It rained and was windy at night so we didnt get to enjoy the hot tub (will be back for the hottub) but the hyperdome kept us dry and safe. The heated blanket was a lifesaver as it got pretty cold at night. We plan on coming back soon to enjoy everything they have to offer.
Oh and the fences were high that it left very private and safe.

This one is really a can't miss! We had the most lovely, quiet, peaceful getaway just the two of us. Our host has included so many charming decorative touches and fun little activities in this space— bocce, cornhole, mini golf, and even a telescope for those famously bright desert night skies.
This place is also perfect for the cooler months since the bed has a heated blanket and the daytime hours are sunny and warm here. Super private with a locked gate + tall fence, too, so no worries about neighbors. There might be some roosters crowing in the morning at the farm somewhere nearby, but we found it charming. :)
Highly recommend for San Diego area couples looking for a getaway, writers and artists looking for a quiet solo retreat, or even folks finishing the Pacific Crest Trail nearby. You won't be disappointed. Definitely our favorite Hipcamp stay so far!!
