Loved camping here! Such a great site they have built. The shower was a delight. The shade of the trees help a lot in the desert sun. Thanks! Would recommend for sure!

I have stayed here several times and absolutely love it.The wind can be a bit strong, so be prepared for that.Rather than that, the sunsets are absolutely gorgeous.I spent most of my time sitting on my r v roof reading and paintand decompressing just watching the sunsets. You have the space to yourself, which makes you feel one with nature. And the environment merely makes you want to experience other types of spirituality. There is a lot of calmness on this property. And I truly enjoyed it. It gave me peace in a time when everything in life seemed chaotic. Thank you, Margarita, for being so understanding. So patient and so caring towards me. I will be back soon. I promise.

My friends and I had a comfy stay at this location. We heard sounds in the neighborhood but the sound of traffic was not a problem for us that impeded our sleep, unlike past reviews. Campsite has modern conveniences like toilet, shower, outlets, etc. I’d rebook.

50 amp connections installed upside down, so we couldn't plug in our RV. So we had to run the generator all night. The campsite with power is directly outside the front of their house. The neighborhood getting there is a bit sketchy. Just not what was pictured, wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

Host: 5⭐️ Mercedes was great and kept us well stocked with firewood
Bathroom: 5⭐️ toilet was clean, smelled nice and lots of toilet paper. The outdoor shower deserves another 5⭐️!!!
Location: 2⭐️ Close to Joshua Tree but definitely felt like we were in the suburbs by a busy road and can get very windy in the valley which would make fires and tent camping difficult!

We loved this spot! There are views of the mountains all around and it was really nice to have a bathroom after a few nights of primitive camping before this. There was a firepit and picnic table with some shade. The labrinth was a cool bonus. Also, no words can describe taking a hot shower outdoors looking at the snow packed mountain tops! Would highly recommend this spot.

The campsite itself was beautiful and the outdoor shower and bathroom were very nice and it was nice to have hot running water! Location is not good for a campsite though, it’s between two major roads and there’s lot of strange noises in the night that make you question your safety.

We tent-camped at Mercedes's site for 3 nights and had a great stay. The property is gorgeous, surrounded by mountain ranges where you could sit & watch the sun rise & set every day. The desert wildflowers were also in bloom while we were there, which made the whole site even more beautiful. Mercedes was friendly and helpful, she responded to messages promptly. Firewood was provided on site, the bathroom was very clean and there was a real outdoor shower with HOT water next to the bathroom. There were several electrical outlets both in the bathroom and also near the tent site. The traffic noise from the main street was a little loud, but it usually died down after 11. We didn't hear any loud music from the neighbor that was previously mentioned by other campers.

There are a lot of pros and cons to this place and it depends on the type of camping you are doing that greatly impacts your experience:
PROS:
Toilet, clean and well stocked (bougie for camping!)
Shower (not used, too cold and one night)
Water access
Fire pit
Uncrowded
Lots of taco and fruit trucks on the way
SUPER responsive host
CONS
-The neighbors that are a couple miles away have an AMAZING sound system and you will hear it if they throw a party on a long weekend
-If you are tent camping you will find it impossible to sleep. You are next to a main road, across the street from a refinery, close to train tracks, and even airplanes are ridiculously loud. Yes, we were wearing ear plugs
-Previous campers have broken glass all over the property. Not the hosts fault but made it a bit hard to find a suitable site
I believe this site is much more suitable for those that are camping in a self contained vehicle that can block out noise or heavy sleepers.

Mercedes’ place is a great secluded location if you like privacy and star gazing! It’s close enough to town that you can easily get to stores conveniently, would definitely stay here again. Mercedes was very responsive to questions and texts!

Had a great tent camping experience. Nice little spot that felt secluded but still had cell service. Picnic table and camp chairs provided were super useful. We would definitely return!

Mercedes’ took great care of us. It was the perfect spot for a quick getaway to Joshua Tree and Mt. San Jacinto!

Great location close off the main highway but still feels secluded. Mercedes was a gracious host and available for all questions. Great having access to the outdoor shower and flushing toilet!

Mercedes was an amazing host and the property has a nice view of the mountains, which was fun as we hiked Mt. San Jacinto the next day.
We stayed on a night where the neighbors decided to play loud music pretty late, which was a bummer, but the location and host were super fab. We laid a blanket out and laid under the stars, which was a great bonus. A bonfire pit and wood were provided. I also enjoyed the nice shower, which was warm due to the water being heated by the sun. Maybe bring some ear plugs and enjoy the view.

Magical! Mercedes is the perfect hostess. This spot has everything! City light view, but is quiet, relaxing. and close to everything. We were lulled to sleep by the sounds of distant coyotes and nearby water features. When we woke up I even took a stroll in the labyrinth. She even had a camp shower ready for us! We will be back!

Mercedes was very friendly and responsive. She sent us a list of attractions to explore around the area! My favorite nighttime activity is having s'mores on campfire, so I was very happy that the campsite has a fire pit. The firewood was provided, and we brought our own too with fire starter, so we were able to keep the campfire on for hours.
The campground has all the necessities that we were looking for: flat ground for tent, picnic table, fire pit, drive-up access. The shower tent setup for quick shower was a nice bonus!
It's a nice private area that we were the only campers there since there's only one campground on site. Be sure to prepare for windy weather. The tent might move around if it doesn't have something to weigh it down. Overall it's a nice spot to have a weekend getaway or short stay and explore the surrounding of Palm Springs area.

We had a wonderful time camping here, really enjoyed the place, especially having it to ourselves. Mercedes is a great host, responsive and very helpful. The shower that she set up for us every evening was much appreciated (the water was hot as well, warmed up nicely by the sun). There was plenty of wood for the fire warming us up after the sun went down. Thank you very much Mercedes, hope to be back!

This was perfect for our needs! There was a little camp spot set up with a fire ring and trash can etc but the property was large and we had the place to ourselves for the night. There were nice views of the mountains to wake up to. It’s basic but just what we needed for a night! The hosts were very attentive and excellent at communicating with us, despite turning up late. Thanks!
