Diamond Acres is a quiet, secluded camp in the Kern River Valley just minutes from Lake Isabella, the mighty Kern River, and Southern Sierras! We offer glamping sites (tent or trailer) with hot showers and flushing toilets! Come enjoy the solitude and stars. Our camp overlooks miles of rolling hills with no houses in view! Skip the crowded campgrounds and glamp comfortably while only being 5 minutes from Lake Isabella! Take a short walk to the top of the property and enjoy some of the best sunsets you've ever seen! We are close to the Kern River, OHV trails, hot springs, hiking, kayaking, fishing, boating, paragliding, and so much more!

Primitive camping spot that's very secluded! Diamond Valley boasts 280 acres of open land! This spot is ideal for the rugged-type of camper seeking total seclusion. 4 WD required! This spot is atop a hill with breathtaking views of Lake Isabella and the Kern River Valley. No restroom or other amenities at this site, however, we also offer glamping sites at the other end of our acreage. We call that campground Diamond Acres. Guests that book a primitive site in Diamond Valley would be able to use the restrooms and showers at Diamond Acres so long as it's not disruptive to guests that have booked one of the glamping sites. This is a pack-it‐in-pack-it-out type of stay. Leave no trace. Just enjoy the peace and solitude. We welcome tents / camper vans (so long as they're high clearance with 4WD). This site can get a little windy (which may be nice for the warmer months).

Camping chairs and table provided. Sheets, pillows, towels, and coffee provided. Campsite is graveled. There is running water, outdoor flush toilets and hot outdoor shower! Skip the crowded campgrounds and relax during your stay in the Kern River Valley. Our camp is secluded with only 4 sites! *please note there is no electricity at our property. *cell reception is spotty at the camp sites, but there should be a good signal at the top of the hill or at the end of the driveway :) *our campground is very private, and there are currently 4 sites. There may or may not be other guests staying in the other sites. *this is an off-the-grid, unique type of stay! ** If you book in the fall/ spring/ winter time, be advised that it is COLD. Please dress and pack accordingly. We are working on some creative heating solutions, but please be prepared for chilly Temps! *** if you book in the summer, it is HOT. we are working on some creative cooling solutions, but please be prepared for toasty temps! **our camp is remote and located in the country. Expect to see wildlife such as squirrels, field mice, rabbits, cows, and horses! You may even hear coyotes singing at night. Measures are taken to control mice, insects, and spiders, but at the end of the day, this is a camping experience in the country, so you may come across some of these during your stay. **Please check with us for specific directions to the property (as GPS) may take you to the wrong location.We STRONGLY recommend arriving before it gets dark. If you check in after 9 P.M., hosts may not be able to assist if problems arise. This should also go without saying, but if you book a site, you are to only lodge in your reserved site. The other campsites are reserved and priced separately. Diamond Acres is a private camp, and we have a total of 4 sites. 30 ft spacious travel trailer with bathroom! Bedroom has a full bed with lots of storage. This is an "off-the-grid" experience! Working kitchen sink / toilet / bathroom sink. This trailer has a propane wall heater to keep the space warm in the winter! There are amazing outdoor showers with hot water! Diamond Acres is very private and currently has only four sites! Skip the crowded campgrounds and enjoy the peace and quiet during your getaway to the Kern River Valley! Keep in mind that there is no electricity at our property. We have recently added some solar battery power (message host for details). The Cozy Camper is our beloved Toyhauler Trailer that has traveled all over the country. It now resides at Diamond Acres Camp that is incredibly secluded and shared with only 3 other campsites. Queen air bed with a kitchen and outdoor bathroom/ hot shower. This is a rare find. Come stay at Diamond Acres and enjoy the solitude and the stars! Our property currently does not have electricity, but the camper does have running water and a stove top! Cell reception is spotty at the camp, but you should get full reception if you walk to the top of the hill! ** If you book in the fall/ spring/ winter time, be advised that it is COLD. Please dress and pack accordingly. This trailer has heating capabilities, but please be prepared for chilly Temps! ***our camp is remote and located in the country. Interested in bringing a group of campers for a fun getaway or focused retreat? We're here for it! We are now offering an option to book the entire campground! Our glamping sites can sleep up to 9 people with plenty of additional space for even more people to set up tents as well! Existing sites include 2 canvas tents (each have queen beds) and two camper trailers (one sleeps 2. The other sleeps 3). Our campground is "off-the-grid" and secluded with amazing views. We have running water, flush toilets and hot showers. Please note there is no electricity at our camp! Feel free to reach out with questions! Stargazer Tent
Diamond Acre Camp is one of those rare places that feels calm the moment you arrive. The site is spacious, clean, and perfectly positioned for wide-open night skies. The star-gazing here is unreal — the kind of view that makes you forget about everything else. The atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, and beautifully raw. My tent lit up under the stars felt straight out of a movie.

Overall was an ok experience not what we were expecting. It was difficult to follow directions to the correct gate, not clear signage at the road. The dlrections from the host were from the perspective of someone who knew the area. We had a hard time finding cell coverage to contact the host. Full of ants on the flat area which promoted a quick exit.

Campsite was good, had we gone in the lower part it would’ve been quieter. (The people in the hut on site that day were noisy) View of the stars was incredible and campsite was clean and exactly as expected.

People, there is a new standard when using the word Glamping and this is it. I can't tell you how amazing this site was. The lifted and spacious tent we had was supplied with a heater; chargers, and a journal as well as an incredible mattress and sheets and blankets. The common area was also fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Cooking supplies ranging from utensils and tools to a grill and stove, multiple fire pits to choose from, wood and kindling, as well as comfortable chairs. There were also activities such as corn hole and golf clubs. The bathroom was similarly exceptional with flushable toilets and the outdoor shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. All in all this whole place was incredible. It was immediately evident that the hosts put a lot of time, effort, and love into this place so that people could enjoy the surrounding area.

This was a lovely spot and I had a really great time. I do not have 4WD, so I couldn’t get my Prius to climb the hill and see the lake — I had to set up down the hill and the view wasn’t quite as nice. But it was perfect for what I wanted — I wanted a quiet, chill place to sit under the stars and enjoy nature (including birds, groundhogs, coyotes and I think I even heard a rattlesnake) and I had a great time doing that.

"Thee" Perfect getaway

It was a delightful relaxing experience. We were able to drive up to the sequoias 2½hrs up. It was cold at night but not freezing . There were blankets provided but we brought extra and didn't need to use the portable heater that the host provided which was super sweet. Everything for a quick little getaway. Perfect for a 2-3 days stay.

This is a beautiful property. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. The directions that I was given to get there were spot on. I enjoyed the peace and getting away from everything. Nice outdoor kitchen setup and thankful for the showers. Dog approved as well.

This location had a great view, and the host made directions to the spot extremely clear! Everything was ready and set up, which made life so much easier. I didn’t have to worry about packing much at all. The location had a great communal area with lots of supplies. It wasn’t far from site seeing spots either! It was the perfect little weekend getaway!

Comfort Cabin Glamping Tent
What a great spot over looking the valley. Had the place to myself no other guests. Plenty of running water, and flushing toilets. Brought my Australian Cattle Dog Lolo up and it was the best experience for her. We live in the city so open land for her to run was the highlight for us! There was an area to cook yourself food, I stayed in one of the comfort tents which was perfect. I spoke to the owners and they are going to make more and more improvements so I can’t wait to continue going back as their property evolves for us camping and dog community!

We had the most lovely stay and cannot wait to return. Diamond Acres is well situated for lots of adventures, and the perfect place to get back to and rest in the peace and quiet. Breanna and John couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

Not only was this location beautiful with great stargazing but Breanna had all the amenities for us at the tent everything was provided including bedding, space heater, water, camping chairs and even toiletries! She was also very communicative and the directions to get to the site were very clear.

Secluded location and beautiful views of the stars at night. Check out the Remington hot springs near by. The outdoor bathrooms are nice. The place was clean and Patrick who came by to help was amazing and kind.

We love love love Breanna’s adorable trailer and will be back! It was the perfect spot to camp out for a visit to Kern and the magical Sequoias. Breanna was so helpful and responsive. She helped us book last minute and find the location with a late night arrival. Thank you, we love it, and highly recommend. Oh. And the Milky Way view from the porch was pure magic!

Breanna’s place was perfect and amazing! It is very secluded and off the grid which me and my mom loved. The views from her place were impeccable. Sadly we had a family emergency and couldn’t stay the second night but I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to disconnect and be in silence.
