Welcome to Coco, the 1970 Overlander 27’ Airstream! We have tried to preserve her 50-year-old charm as much as possible and are still in the process of restoring her to her original glory. Our family of 4 humans, two dogs, and one guinea pig lived in Coco while our house was being built. It was quite an adventure! Coco is nestled in the foothills of the Sierras on our semi-private 4-acre property. Easy access to Grass Valley, Nevada City, and the Yuba River. Coco the Airstream is fully functional with a kitchen and bathroom. There is one full-ish size bed that sleeps two comfortably in the bedroom area, and the couch can fold into one twin-sized bed. We are located about 15 minutes to town and 10 to the nearest grocery store. Coco the Airstream shares the property with a private family of four humans and two dogs in a house at the top of the hill. My parents are full time RVers and often stay in the other RV spot on our property throughout the year when they are taking a break from traveling. My family and I loved Coco the Airstream! It was rustic and comfy and perfect for a weekend away. It’s the perfect amount of off the beaten path (quiet, amazing stars at night!) yet not too removed from everyday comforts (kitchen/fridge, bathroom, electricity). Great swimming holes on the Yuba are about 30 min drive away.

A Dreamy Piece of the Past
Coco the Airstream
This is the second time we stayed in Coco the Airstream. It is a great place to kick around after spending the day in the South Yuba river. It really feels like you have stepped back into a different time. If you have a telescope, bring it! It's a great place to stargaze. Extra points for Jessica being a great host.

I’ve had very positive and some not so good experiences through Hipcamp. This was pleasant. The airstream is super cute and they’ve done a good job maintaining it. It is old so things aren’t fancy, which is what is charming about it. When we first arrived, they had the AC running, but it wasn’t really cooling it down. We turned it off and opened all the windows while we went to Nevada City. When we got back it felt much better. Then the AC worked like a charm! The only issue I’d say, is the bathroom can get a bit smelly which is to be expected with something as old as Coco. I kept the window open and bathroom doors closed and it was fine. We enjoyed staying and the host were very helpful with anything we needed.

It was a unique and enjoyable experience! Coco is super maintained, clean and organized! We went on the Yuba River, Grass Valley and Nevada for the first time and it was amazing! it was a totally different weekend, great to relieve the stress of SF. I will probably be back. Thank you Jessica!

Jessica was a very inviting, and polite host. She gave me the background story of how they got the airstream and its amazing condition. I feel like I am stepping into a time capsule. Everything looks and feels like the 1970s but with modern-day amenities. If you ever want to relax and enjoy a cozy airstream, I definitely recommend Jessica's!

We had an amazing experience in Coco the Airstream. For starters, the RV is so cute and it’s very well equipped with a full bathroom. The owner, Jessica, was extremely nice and provided everything we needed. The site were the RV is located is perfect, and invites you to get some relaxation. And it’s also convenient if you like to go hiking or swimming on lakes and rivers.

A vintage little cozy gem!
Coco the Airstream
We just loved staying in this sweet little vintage gem. Our hosts were so great at communicating with us and we're so gracious and kind. Coco was very clean with a fully stocked kitched and super soft sheets which we appreciated after a long drive. I loved all of the original components that were still present, it was like stepping back in time for a bit. And now I can say that I've experienced an airstream trailer. A wonderful experience!

Coco is clean, charming, and affordable. Coco has a cool vintage vibe and is near some great towns in the sierra foothills. I highly recommend Coco if you want to experience staying in a vintage Airstream in a peaceful setting. Also, Jessica the host promptly answered all our questions.

If you want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet in a cute trailer, this is a good choice. The host was welcoming and Coco was well-taken care of with many amenities. Stove, bathroom, fridge, nice lights. All worked fine, but no TV (which turned out ok because I got to get away from all the election madness). I would stay here again. My only minor complaint is that there is both a cleaning fee and a service fee, so the price is actually a little higher in the end than listed.

For many years I have wanted to experience an Airstream, so I was pretty excited to spend a nice long weekend in one. It was perfect, it had all the conveniences, gas stove, shower, toilet, bedroom, and living room. I appreciated the original vintage finishes, it felt authentic. The setting in nature is beautiful, endless stars, along with the many morning birds. Jessica was super responsive all the way through the process; she made it very easy. The location is ideal, close to Grass Valley, Nevada City, and access to many great hiking spots. I would highly recommend Coco, it's a treat and takes you back in time. Thank you Jessica!

Had a really peaceful stay! The host gave very detailed instructions and even left two cold jugs of water in the fridge for me! Highly recommend staying here and spending time near the Yuba River and Nevada City :)

Airstream wants you to enjoy your life. Even when it's a fifty year old camper, the attention to detail, the little touches everywhere are just a pleasure to experience. The hosts are great, too. Made my last minute arrangements very easy.
