Enjoy 1 full acre under the stars. Make this lot your own and treat it like it was yours. You may access the land and camp where you feel is suitable for you and your guest. You will be able to see the milky way on a clear night and enjoy the galaxy like never before. LOOK for the big tree to know you are on the right parcel. Please view the listing photos a few times to spot the land easier Just 27 miles away head into the red rocks, pines, deserts, and canyons and sink your soul into some vast and untrammeled land that is beyond amazing. Kaibab National Forest has got what you need for a Northern Arizona getaway no matter what you are looking for. With three distinct areas: Williams, Tusayan, and North Kaibab, this diverse place will leave you with a perma-smile and a wild streak you didn’t know you had. Also, wait for it...this forest borders both the north and south side of Grand Canyon National Park! For all the epicness that the Grand Canyon offers (some of the trails actually follow the rim of the canyon!) without the tourists and crowds, come here and feel like you hit the jackpot. There’s really no other way to say it. You just gotta see it for yourself! A little further you have the famous Grand Canyon! Mother Nature had a blast creating the Big Ditch, an awe-inspiring place where ancient rocks soar above the Colorado River in a fiery parade of colors. Forested campsites are just steps from gorgeous views on both the North and South Rims, where hiking trails, biking, and sunset-watching await campers. Looking for solitude? Pack your backpack, fill your water bottles, grab your permit, and hike seven miles into the heart of the place on the switchbacking South Kaibab Trail, with gobsmacking views around every bend. Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.

    I really enjoyed the land was a great spot. When I went It was too windy for a fire but there was a spot for one. A little rough to get out there with a low profile car so take something more fit for road but still made it in and out. The weather was amazing even without getting to see the stars thanks to the rain but a great spot!

    We had a group of 12 and this was the perfect spot for a fun camp, playing music by the fire, stargazing and enjoying some fresh, cool air! Was 40 minutes to the grand canyon and a perfect spot to head back to after a full day of exploring. The road in was a bit bumpy but my soccer mom van made it just fine.

    I really liked this place. There are neighbors not too close but they don't even know you are there. The star gazing is "out of this world" provided the moon is not out. I got great astrophotography pictures. There is a lot to do in Williams and Flagstaff. If I come this way again I will stay here again. Caution! You will need a 4 wheel drive SUV or truck.

    Abandoned trailer on-site if it was the correct site. No address markers so hopefully we didn’t boondock on someone else’s land. Plenty of downed and dry fire wood. Flat with small brush. Some trees for windbreak if needed.

    Loved this spot! It was cloudy when we were here so we weren’t able to see the stars, but the proximity to the Grand Canyon is great, especially since all camping in the park can fill so quickly with reservations!

    We enjoyed camping here, there was a nice private spot in between bushes with a flat area for our tent. Lots of downed wood already there, but there are several gas stations to grab firewood if your coming from I40. This is a campground for those who enjoy rugged and dispersed camping. Good camping land, it was cloudy so we didn't get to see the stars but I can see how it would be a good dark area to see them. We liked that our dogs could be off their leashes and enjoy the area too. Great experience for those who love a primitive adventure.
