RRR was even better than I imagined! Justine was such a responsive and welcoming host. I felt the perfect blend of privacy and hospitality. The amenities were so great, better than we expected and exactly what my husband and I needed during our camper van adventure. The bathroom was so excellent — clean, fresh, homey, cute, and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We were even able to do laundry in the common outdoor space, which again was so helpful and really nice! We didn’t even have time to take advantage of all Justine shares — in particular the ‘saloon’ which is a bar/patio with table and chairs on a covered porch with a connected and stocked kitchenette — our trips to RRR were last minute and quick this time, my husband and i were in the area (in the middle of a two week camper van adventure), for me to run the javelina jundred 100K ultra marathon in McDowell Mountain Regional Park halloween weekend. we camped at the race site from Friday - Sunday but wanted a place to stay the night before and after the race and Justine’s place was really wonderful and I haven’t even mentioned the mountain view!! So RRR is part of our travel plans for javelina jundred next year! I highly recommend camping/staying at RRR! Thanks Justine!

Another fabulous stay! 4th time to visit and always enjoy the location and easy access to numerous activities and restaurants. Evenings are quiet and have fabulous views for sunset and sunrises!! Can’t wait for the next visit!!

I had another good stay at Red Rock Roping, while attending to my father in the hospital. Mel was super kind and generous toward me. And with it getting hotter again in the Phoenix area, it's very good to have electricity for my AC, and water and a good shower!

I really like this place. It has become my go-to Hipcamp spot when visiting the greater Phoenix area. Good views, good facilities, easy going and kind host. Highly recommend.
I find myself running out of superlatives when trying to figure out how to describe this wonderful family and their Hipcamp site. We planned 4 overnights to recharge and relax. We actually changed our forward plans so we could spend one more day here. Mel is a total five star host, the views and sunsets from the property are superb, the nights are wonderfully quiet, and everything around the entire property is exceedingly neat and thoughtfully arranged. We enjoyed one night in the common area (the Saloon) visiting with Mel's family and a fellow guest over in the bunkhouse and had a lovely time. The larger area is also worth the visit. We enjoyed the charming Carefree and Cave Creek towns and swam and worked out over at the Desert Foothills YMCA (15 min drive away). Heartily recommended!

Really enjoyed this spot. Beautiful views of mountains. Sunrises and sunsets. Quiet. The "outhouse" is really a lovely well kept bathroom with a great shower. After being on the road a while it's really nice to have a real bathroom and shower. Also access to laundry is great. And Mel is kind and accommodating. I think this will be my preferred place to stay when I come to the Phoenix area.

Very nice site, level, clean and quiet! Close to Carefree AZ with lots of services but far enough away to be restful. Would certainly stay here if in the area.
Beautiful horse property. Beautiful scenery. Great hikes. Lots of room for only 4 RV spots. The saloon, laundry and showers are perfect and Mel is a 5 star host.

Red Roping was an ideal location for visiting family in Cave Creek, AZ. The view of the mountains are stunning. Would definitely stay here again.
Reck Rock Roping is in a quiet location with beautiful views, yet conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and great mountain bike and hiking trails. The hosts are extremely accommodating, kind, and offer great hospitality. Easily the best Hipcamp experience we’ve had. We’ve stayed there twice and plan to return in the future.

It’s in a nice area and the view is wonderful. The entire property is well maintained and is very quiet. We love staying there.
What a fabulous stay! It is very quiet and has beautiful views. The hosts are extremely charming. They are quick to respond, wifi is fast, and access to laundry facilities was such a bonus! We highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful sunset view, very clean. Nice to have all the hookups as well as a BBQ and hot showers.
We loved staying at Red Rock Roping! We were there for a week and plan to stay a month, next time. Mel was wonderful to work with and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Having full hookups seemed like a dream and the added facilities were unbelievable. We have never stayed at a nicer HipCamp! You can’t beat the views!
Wonderful camp spot and super host. The RV sites are simple, side by side but with full hookups at the rear of each site (be sure you have enough hose etc to connect). The area is very quiet. The views are amazing. Totally wonderful experience. Thank you Mel!
We found this place on a last minute whim and it was such a treat. Mel was very helpful and quick to respond to questions! They let us move to sites that were open to be in the shade (very sunny and hot). They had great amenities (clean bathroom and shower, shaded porch). The sunset and sunrise were beautiful! My son loved petting the horses.

This beautiful property is set on gorgeous desert hillside! Mel and family provide the basics of Rv hook-ups if needed, bathroom, shower and laundry in a relaxing environment. I have already recommended my cousins go visit the area and stay in Mel’s Casita.
Great place to stay in cave creek. Loved the central location to everything, plus it was very quiet and peaceful on Mel’s property. Bonus points for the super nice bathroom/shower!
Red Rock Roping is a great escape from the traffic and crowds of the Greater Phoenix area. We stayed 2 nights, in a very quiet upscale neighborhood. Enjoyed good food at the Horny Toad and Ofrenda. We drove into Scottsdale to tour Frank Lloyd Wrights desert studio Taliesin West. And hiked in Spur Cross Ranch preserve.
Our host Mel was great about communicating, the sites are level, and the 2 other HipCampers were quiet but friendly. Great shared areas, clean bathroom, good showers and laundry. Would definitely stay again - thanks so much for hosting us.
Absolutely loved this place. The owners have gone above and beyond to accommodate campers. Gravel campsites, sewer, water, electric, a grill, bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities. They even have accommodations for horses. Unbelievable sunsets every night. So much better than an RV park. Absolutely would return.
