Desert Playground
As a native Arizonan; it was what I expected. There were no surprises. The area is flat and there is plenty of room to set up camp. It's hard to believe there are only 4 campsites there because I saw probably about 20 different places to set up. It took me an hour just to decide on the best spot for me. I formed a circular site with my morning view pointed towards the morning sunrise. The howling of the coyotes put me to sleep and the Sun was my alarm clock
Overall, everything was great. William (Willy) even called me as I was just arriving. It was nice to be able to talk with the owner of the campsite before I set so that I knew all my options. He was very helpful in describing the area and his directions were right on. I'm sure he was only a call away if I needed anything which is comforting.
