Skylight Treehouse is located on the grounds of my family home. We are delighted to share it with a very international public! The treehouse is particularly special to me; my husband and I spent our wedding night there, as well as enjoying it as our own retreat many nights since. While the treehouse, adjacent hostel, and tenting area are located in town, this is a great place to stage your Alaskan adventures. Easy access to all routes, plenty of room for your gear, a bike barn with basic repair tools, and FOUR sporting goods outlets nearby, plus three grocery stores. Do your dry run setup and shopping from here, head out on your adventures, then return to share stories and enjoy a hot shower/laundry. Short term lockable storage available, and we are happy to hold packages shipped ahead up to 30 days.
