You can live large at Bailey’s Point, the biggest campground on all of Barren River Lake. Given its abundant space, there’s plenty of room for you to find your own quiet corner to set up camp. For optimum relaxation, pack a picnic and take a boat to one of the small islands accessible from this campground. Once you make it back to your site, keep your eyes peeled for the infamous white squirrel who digs these shoreline trails. We think he’s got the right idea.

This park is beautiful. The views are breathtaking. I stayed there for a couple of months. Not a good place to be if there is government shutdown, which I did. You have to leave!
