Description

Not sure what a “warming hut" is? Don’t sweat it! Big Springs is just a fully enclosed, concrete-floored facility where up to 200 people can gather at picnic tables and wood-burning stoves when the weather turns cool. Located in the always popular Island Park, just 22 miles south of West Yellowstone, Montana, the warming hut isn’t the only thing worth visiting at Big Springs. Stoic lodgepole pines and vibrant wildflowers in the summer months make Big Springs one of Idaho’s most unique destinations year round.
