Hit the spot!
Beautiful spot amongst the orchids and pineapples. Directions provided and easy to find our site. We were in site #2. Ours did not have a picnic table but no one else was there so we sat at one of the other tables nearby. Cute and clean bathoom and access to a kitchen area below. We loved playing with Jinx the dog and his sidekick kitty. Wished we could have tried the pineapple but didn't want to help ourselves! Convenient to restaurants in Pahoa if you aren't feeling like cooking.
Epic camping at orchid/ fruit farm!
One of the most magical Hipcamp spots I’ve ever been to! Beautiful orchid sanctuary with tons of fruit trees! Great easy camping set up and awesome coverage for the rain. The sound of the frogs at night is like a symphony to sleep too! Also very dog friendly! Love this place and can’t wait to ray here again next time on the big island.
Magical spot on the big island!
The Orchid was AMAZING! My husband and I were only supposed to be there for 1 night and we ended up staying for 3. The land is magical, the setup is thorough and thoughtful, and everyone we interacted with was amazing. When we're back on the Big Island in the future, we will stay again!
Perfect, peaceful, beautiful
Staying at George’s farm was an absolute dream. My husband and I only booked for one night initially but ended up staying for three! The land is stunning and special - and the people that work and live there are incredibly kind. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to play with some kittens and the farm dog, Jinx. We hope to be back again for a week+ the next time we’re here!
Five stars all around!
Best spot hands down. Friendly host, nice covered camp spots, toilet and shower on site. The night we stayed there it rained all night, it was so nice having a covered area to ourselves, complete with picnic table! The place was super quiet, great to listen to the birds and frogs sing and gaze at the stars.
