Dry Rainforest Grove
Tranquility
Very nice waking up to the sound of whip birds! This was our second visit. A tranquil oasis, not far from the busyness of Logan and Beenleigh. Anita is an excellent host. Thanks. We'll be back (again!)

Peaceful Piece of Paradise
Anita is a fabulous host! It was wonderful to have the opportunity to stay at this property. We had to have our caravan in for the first service in Yatala so this was a very handy 10 minutes down the road. The surrounding area is very picturesque and we can't wait to return for a longer stay.

Many unpleasant surprises
It was a very strange place to stay. When we arrived, Anita came soon after to show us where to park our camper trailer. I had requested a sunny spot for our week-long stay to utilize solar panels for our fridge and lights. However, Anita directed us to the far end of the small property (about an acre) and asked us to face away from the house in the middle.
After setting up, we realise we were in a shady spot with no direct sunlight, causing our batteries to almost run flat. Desperate for electricity, I found a power point in an open barbecue area with old bikes and odds and ends, spending $200 on a Victron battery charger to charge my battery during the nights. But on the third night, the power to the plug was turned off, forcing us to charge the battery at a local campground.
On the first morning, my upset son told me a man had warned him not to go near the house. Anita soon confirmed this, stating that we shouldn't go near it, and children shouldn't go near the house. I was surprised to learn that the house was occupied, not an Airbnb, even though it was situated amidst all the campsites. Taking photos, with the house in them, was also prohibited, which further confused us about the situation. Anita does not live on the property.
Despite informing Anita about my sister joining us and offering to pay more for her accommodation, she never collected the money.
We were also warned about potential dingo attacks on our dog, and wild donkeys visiting each night.
