We had another wonderful stay at Superior Sunrises! The water was so warm, so we spent a lot of time swimming and playing at the secluded beach. Be sure to spend a good amount of time exploring Lower Tahquamenon Falls & bring your suits! Super cute row boats you can rent at Lower falls as well. We really enjoyed dinner at the Goat Locker - perfect spot to take lil kiddos. We loved the large space for kids to run and play & we were able to enjoy some live music as well! However we did think the white fish at The Inn was a lot tastier.
You truly can’t beat the location, privacy and beauty of this special site at Superior Sunrises.

If we could give more than five stars, we would! Superior Sunrises exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd found something special. The site is peaceful, private, and the views of Lake Superior are breathtaking.
We spent several days van camping here and loved every minute. Mornings began with homemade blueberry pancakes made with wild blueberries we picked along the lakeshore, enjoyed on our private deck overlooking the water while watching the sunrise. Evenings were spent around the campfire listening to the waves. During the day we explored Paradise, Whitefish Point, and the surrounding area, then returned to what felt like our own little retreat on the lake. I even worked up the courage to take a couple of cold plunges in Lake Superior! Invigorating!
The hosts have created a place that allows you to truly slow down and appreciate the beauty of the Upper Peninsula. Everything was exactly as described, and it's clear they've put a great deal of care into making guests feel welcome while preserving the peaceful atmosphere of the property.
This was one of the most relaxing camping trips we've ever taken. In fact, I joked that my husband may be ruined for camping from now on because nothing else is going to measure up!
We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Superior Sunrises to anyone looking for an unforgettable Lake Superior experience.

Superior Sunrises
Our family camped here with a 19 ft travel trailer. It was very easy to back it into a nice, level spot close to water and electric. The hosts provided ample firewood, chairs, tables and a large fire pit. The short path to the lake is surrounded by wild blueberries. We loved watching the sunrise with our morning coffee from the deck. The sandy, private beach is so peaceful. A friendly neighbor came over to said hello when he was out for his evening swim. The shops are very convenient - grocery, cafe, food trucks, gift shops, bait, etc.
We'd happily camp here again.

We truly enjoyed our time at this site. The private beach was incredible. You are tucked away from town but also it was very convenient to walk to a restaurant or grocery store. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.
What a gem! This lovely property had plenty of space for our 22' RV. Easy to find, friendly and communicative hosts, with electric, fire pit, firewood, picnic table, private deck, and PRIVATE BEACH! The sun rises right over the water. Spectacular! I can't say enough about the location, with cute gift shops, grocery mart, liquor store, gas station, restaurant, and food trucks literally steps away, but also so quiet and private as it is set a ways back off the road behind another now-closed restaurant. We were able to wander up and down the sandy beach with our dog and no other people around! The site is mostly sand and it took us a couple of tries to get level. It is located directly behind a cottage (unoccupied), which actually adds to your privacy from the road. There is another cottage on one side that you can see through the trees, but we never saw anyone around. There is a bike lane in both directions (on the shoulder of the 2-lane road) that goes all the way to the Shipwreck museum (fabulous). We road our bikes and towed our dog the 11.2 miles in each direction as a day trip. It is mostly flat with a few hills, but a lovely ride along the coast and forest. It's also very close to Tahquamenon Falls for a day trip if you have wheels. Great base camp for relaxing and privacy. Highly recommended!
Superior Sunrises is a neat spot that has stair access to the shoreline. The beach is sandy and feels private.
The little bistro table overlooking the lake was a great spot for meals.
30amp power was a nice touch.
The well water has amazing pressure- make sure to use a regulator!
Great site. Super easy to find but felt very private. You'll love the beach and great little deck that overlooks the water. Location was superb and host gave great instructions.
We loved our stay at Superior Sunrise! It was a great private spot with our own beach area and easy access to food trucks, restaurants, stores, and gas stations. We brought our two dogs, and they loved the beach just as much, if not more, than we did. It’s also in a great location for exploring, with Munising about 1 hour and 45 minutes away and a super easy drive to Tahquamenon falls. Great stay and we’d definitely love to come back! Truly Paradise!

This is a true slice of paradise! Very private and cozy spot tucked back in the trees. The beach access is incredible. 100% will be back!! Christopher and Rochelle were wonderful hosts :)
Loved being accessible to the beach (so did or dogs)! Very quiet, private and peaceful. We parked at the end of the driveway as the ground was soft and sandy. Absolutely loved the viewing deck above the beach
This is a perfect spot to stay on your visit to the Upper Peninsula. It is conveniently located near a grocery store, convenience stores, and restaurants. Unfortunately, the food trucks were not open while we were there. You are a few short steps from the water on White Fish Bay and a sandy beach. We will definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed at Superior Sunrises and had a great time! The place was easy to find and tucked away. You're very close to restaurants and stores which is great, but it's tucked back far enough to feel secluded.
The deck overlooking Lake Superior was definitely our favorite part. Absolutely stunning!
It was very nice having access to electricity and water. We didn't plan on using it, but it got pretty cold so we had to pull out our tent heater.
The hosts were very helpful and created a great space for memories.
We will absolutely be back in the summer!
Beautiful view and very responsive and gracious hosts! I loved having this private beach entrance, beautiful sunset and sunrise! They have everything you need from electric, water, picnic table, fire pit! And there’s a little store across the street if you need anything else! And also a few little eateries along the main road as well! Would definitely stay again! Thank you so much!
Paradise is the perfect name for this spot! Tucked in a little town yet feeling completely secluded, this campsite strikes the best balance of convenience and privacy. I loved being able to walk across the street to the grocery store, then return to a peaceful site with water and electric hookups plus access to a private sandy beach. The location made an ideal home base for exploring the area, and the bonus was the local food trucks—don’t miss the freshly caught whitefish and definitely grab the onion rings. 10 stars! I’ll absolutely be back.

My family and I had an amazing time camping at this spot. The views and access to a private Lake Superior beach is just unbelievable. Compared to the business and crowds of the nearby state campgrounds, this is an oasis. Also so fun that there are amenities like a small grocery store and a couple cafes/food trucks within walking distance.
The location was fantastic!!!! Very close to restaurants, stores, and sights. The deck and stairs to the beach were wonderful!! Thanks for a great location!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The spot is tucked away but directly downtown. Perfect spot for exploring the Falls or Whitefish Bay.
Definitely coming back! Truly cannot beat that beautiful and super private beach right on Lake Superior. Best of both worlds - feels like you're in the middle of nowhere down at the beach + being able to pop into town for a quick bite to eat is a bonus. Thank you for sharing your slice of Paradise with us, we are so grateful!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip at Superior Sunrise. It was private and quiet.
The location was perfect! Lovely private beach and nice yard to park in. Great Shade and sunrise. Close to Whitefish Point and Tahoquemen Falls.
The location was so great! We could go rock hunting, see Tahquamenon Falls and travel up to Whitefish Point so easily.
The site itself was great! Having power and water and firewood made it very easy for us.
We spent mornings and evenings (and in between) at the private deck overlooking Lake Superior. Wild blueberries were all around as well!
Christopher and Rochelle were great to communicate with and so kind.
We opted to back our camper down the driveway, but my wife and I navigated back and it was no problem.
It was nice to have some amenities with downtown Paradise right behind us, but once we were back in our site you would have never known since it was very secluded and then opened up to the water with the private staircase leading to a very sandy beach!
We will be back!

Beach is amazing
When you park - on the curb side of the Rv you have a perfect lake setting. Can’t ask for more
Not too much in town - but you can walk to the the end of the driveway where there are 2 food trucks , a diner and a simple grocery store. There is also a sporting goods store store there too.
If you are looking for a quiet getaway spot on the lake - this is it

What a peaceful place in Paradise! My family of 4 loved the seclusion, the fire pit, and especially the beach. Would definitely come back again!

A perfect hip camp spot hidden within town of Paradise! A private deck with seating for two, private beach and unobstructed views of Lake Superior. Close to all of our favorite spots, Whitefish PT, the waterfalls, and river mouth. Clear skies let us view the Buck Moon, stars and a couple nice sunrises.
Parking spot, although sandy was firm and level, electricity and firewood were included. With being only a few hundred feet from the highway, very little road noise. It was nice hearing the Lake freighters pass by. Highly recommend downloading free MarineTraffic app, if you are interested in knowing the ships information.
