We now offer disc golf to our guests for a $5 fee per person, course open in the morning to our guests and afternoons to public, ask about this when you check in. Propane fire rings and gas tanks available for rent. We are a working horse ranch, so horses may be encountered on roads. Welcome to Serenity in the Foothills. Located an hour west of Denver, this 3600 acre ranch features 12 spaced out campsites that offer quite a bit of privacy. There are tons of trails/ roads to hike and bike around on, as well as many amazing views. Resort Valley Ranch was combined from around 15 homesteads by the Corbin family. You will see lots of relics and evidence related to those homesteads across our property! Please do not disturb any artifacts or relics on our property. Come enjoy this hidden private jewel in the pines of Jefferson County, Colorado! We want to ensure your vehicle and trailer won't get damaged while commuting to your campsite. Please read about our campsites and make sure the one you pick works for your car/trailer. -NO fifth wheels (ALL sites). -Maximum length of trailers is 22ft(Select campsites) -Trailers must have adequate clearance: 8 inches or higher with no low hanging plumbing. -Sites 1, 2 : 4WD/ SUV- Short camper trailers only (12 foot max) -Sites 3 and 7 : 4WD/SUV vehicles only -Sites 4-12(excluding sites 7 and 11): 4WD/SUV with good clearance are recommended as well as trailers (22 foot max) -Site 11 : 4WD vehicles only. If your trailer is bigger than 22 feet, our sister camp-site Resort Valley Ranch may be able to accommodate you. (Also located on Hipcamp) **When booking, please include basic information about your car/ trailer clearance to ensure that your campsite you've selected will accommodate it!**

Site 7 - Serenity Camp in the Foothills
The site sits among beautiful pine trees with amazing mountain views and plenty of privacy. We had a perfect mix of sunshine, shade, and cool mountain air. Watching storms roll across the peaks while sitting in camp was worth the trip alone. The area was quiet, peaceful, and felt truly secluded without being difficult to access. There were great trails nearby for exploring, and it was the perfect place to spend time with my dogs. They had plenty of room to roam, hike, and relax around camp. The wildlife, scenery, and overall atmosphere made this feel like a true Colorado mountain experience. Waking up to the smell of pine trees, drinking coffee while looking out over the forest, and ending the day under the stars made it hard to leave. If you're looking for a peaceful mountain campsite with incredible views, privacy, and easy access to nature, this spot is hard to beat. I'll definitely be coming back.

Site 11 - Serenity Camp in the Foothills
Stunning views and total privacy make this spot a winner. Peaceful, beautiful, and feels remote in the best way. The Serenity property is one of a kind. A few things to know going in: the roads to Site 11 are a little rough and take a couple tries to get comfortable with, the bathroom is a decent hike away (uphill on the way back), and the hilltop location means occasional strong winds. Disc golf course nearby was a nice bonus and a fun way to spend an afternoon. Serenity is overall a great property that we will happily return to!

We loved Site 4! There was a flat area for us to park our van. As others have mentioned, the road may be challenging for some cars, but our VW Eurovan did fine. We'd recommend this campsite, especially given how secluded it was while being relatively close to Denver.

This was my third time tent camping at Jeff's property and it still is such a great experience. His land is so beautiful, he is very welcoming, and there have never been any issues or concerns. I have the best time when I camp here and definitely plan to come back again before the season is over. Sites are so spacious and private, yet still make me feel so safe as a solo camper!

Our #1 choice!
Site 1 - Serenity Camp in the Foothills
Serenity is a more than suitable way to sum this place up. It was serene and private. We even had the entire side of the campground to ourselves for one day and night and it was magnificent. No noise aside from the rare airplane about once a day. The entire forest became active as soon as the sun went down. Very little bugs this time of year and plenty of wildlife. We saw a black bear on the mountain in front of the campsite and standing up on the rocks outside of the property. We also heard a mountain lion circling the campsite once. Be aware but they left us alone the entire weekend. Lots of deer, birds, and smaller critters all over. We’ve already scoped out our next campsite for our next visit. Will be visiting again!

This was our 2nd summer to camp at Jeff's property and we had an amazing time. Camp sites are spread out so you have plenty of privacy and the scenery is beautiful.

We had a great time tent camping on Jeff's land. He is kind and welcoming! The spot was mostly secluded, with just a few cars passing by. We were far away from other sites. We would definitely stay here again, it's beautiful. Thanks again, Jeff!

Jeff’s land is so magical. The pictures don’t even do it justice. We stayed at #7 and it was so secluded and such a great space!! So many trees for shade and mountain views all around. It was so peaceful and quiet.

An amazing out-of-the-way, close to Denver Place that you feel so isolated you must be in Peru or Chile. We enjoyed the beauty and the disc golf course was the best and most amazing I've ever played. Something to experience if you are in the disc golfing. The only tough part was taking a 20 foot toy hauler through 6 miles of dirt roads however it made it no problem just a little sketchy on my part. The dogs enjoyed it immensely as my son and myself. Highly recommended.

This trip was AMAZING. I was looking for a place that felt was truly “One with Nature” this place was that plus more. Site 3 was perfect, with a little 4x4 we were truly isolated from all the city noise and stress. Already looking to reserve again.

Site 9 - Serenity Camp in the Foothills
This was our first time using this app to find a campsite and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We were at site #9 and it was so peaceful. We saw a group of deer in the morning, did lots of bird watching and loved all of the trees. We will definitely be back.

Second time at Serenity

My second time at Site 9 and once again it was very peaceful. My only regret is that I didn’t try site 8 or 10 to change it up and that I didn’t try some of the frisbee golf they have close to my site. I will return this summer and try to stay more days.
