Leonard Lake Reserve is a unique vacation rental and group lodging destination set around a private lake. Approximately one hour off Highway 101, Leonard Lake Reserve sits on a 4,000-acre property rich with history and natural beauty, owned by the Dakin family since 1953. Surrounded by old-growth redwood forests and an expansive 18-acre lake, the land has seen many changes but has remained a place of peace and relaxation for both the Dakin family and its numerous guests. With multiple beautiful and cozy lodging accommodations (all of which include Wi-Fi), a modest camping area, 2.5 miles of hiking trails, and a gorgeous 18-acre lake (65°F during summer months), visitors are guaranteed a wonderfully memorable experience.

Built from redwood milled on the property, the Redwood Barn is a unique, open-layout home designed for larger groups. It sleeps up to 18 guests and features one private bedroom that sleeps three with access to the full bathroom. Additional sleeping areas include the living room (sleeps four) and a spacious upstairs loft that sleeps eleven. The barn also includes a downstairs half bath, a huge deck, and a stunning redwood slab dining table. Each house has a full kitchen with everything you need from cooking supplies to dish soap and sponges. The houses are well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tissue paper, toilet paper, paper towels, dish towels, bath towels and lake towels. We also provide the firewood for your wood burning stoves, and there is one or more wood burning stove in each house.
