This is a great new cabin and very comfortable. I just used a sleeping bag but was told bedding is available. The resort is right by the road and there is considerable noise during the day but it became very quiet at night. No electric but battery lights are in cabin. Super friendly and informative staff. It was a great shelter when a heavy thunderstorm rolled through. Restroom is a bit of a walk up the parking lot but they are clean. Very central to all the sights in the area. Would make a great base for an extended stay.

Our stay at Melissa’s Hipcamp site was incredible! The cabins were so nice and cozy, and the outdoor kitchen and shower were great. The property is beautiful and we were so happy we got to stay there on our road trip. I only wish we could have been there for longer!! We will definitely be coming back!

So thankful to Missy and Chris for sharing their property! They are not only gracious hosts, but just really wonderful humans. The duo cabin set up is amazing! They had everything you need to to relax, cook, and enjoy nature. We also had great neighbors that joined for a fire at night and swapped stories while enjoying the evening. The location is good. It is near Sturgis downtown. It has a nice view. It is on top of a hill so you can see the entire town from above. The cottage where we stayed was cute and spacious. It could fit four people. The cottage had a microwave oven, a small fridge, and a table and chairs, which made it convenient for a short-term stay. The price is good it comes with a shower, bath bathtub, and a bathroom. The site is clean and well-maintained. The staff is nice and helpful.

Melissa and Chris were amazing hosts! The location is unbelievably beautiful and peaceful. The cabins are small and tidy and were perfect for my husband and me in the bedroom cabin and our teenage son in the kitchen cabin with futon. They have a friendly dog that got along well with ours. Chris stopped by to make sure we didn’t need anything. We enjoyed it immensely and would definitely recommend this stay!! (Outhouse was also very clean)
