Relax and enjoy the views from the property, copious mountain views and look down on the Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Lots to do in the area including, world class local museum Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Yellowstone National Park, many trailheads in the Shoshone National Forest in a short drive. Only a 1/2 mile drive to thousands of acres of BLM and trials for OHVs at east end of the county road.

We have been blessed with this beautiful property and want to share it with others. We have been operating an Airbnb out of the old barn for 5 years now. The barn was the old feed store in Cody and was moved to this property. Buffalo Bill supposedly bought feed from the store. Lovell is known as the Rose Capitol of Wyoming with the climate being perfect for growing roses. The Pryor Mountain Wild Mustangs are just minutes from our place and we almost always see them out there. Starting summer of 2025 we are excited to be partnering with Tangle Ridge Outfitters out of Greybull Wyoming to offer horse trail rides. Ask for how to contact them to schedule your ride. Cody, only 50 miles to the west is a town loaded with history of the old west and features Cody Nite Rodeo every night of the summer from June 1 through August 30 as well as numerous museums and other attractions. Buffalo Bill Museum of the West will keep you busy for a couple of days if you are a museum buff. Just about everyday in the summer, you are likely to see a gunfight on the street in front of the historic Irma Hotel. There is also Old Trail Town, a recreated old west town. Further to the west just 90 miles from here is the East gate of Yellowstone open from the end of May until first of November. Thermopolis with their giant hot springs is just about 100 miles to the south of us. The Bighorn National Recreation is just minutes from Lovell featuring the 3rd Longest Canyon in the United States with breathtaking views of the Reservoir from Devil's Overlook. Further to the east are the Bighorn Mountains where you can frequently see moose, elk, deer and other wildlife. Learn more about this land: Traveling in your RV but don't want a traditional "trailer park"? At the Rafter JB you will be the only trailer here, you will enjoy a large landscaped outdoor space which is shared with an Airbnb rental, but there is plenty of room for privacy. The landowners were super nice. Got me in late. And helped me get parked in the dark. They offered some delicious beef for me and 3 my dogs to buy which helped keep the doggies happy. Nice and private. Great communication. I recommend this spot !

Eric was such a friendly host. There is no designated camping spot on the property so you can pitch your tent wherever works best for you. Eric supplied us with wood and gasoline to have a fire for the evening.

You will park your RV by the pond on our gravel driveway.

We had an amazing time at Brenda's place. Brenda and John were hospitable and friendly, giving us advice on where to eat. The location was easy to access and the setting was perfect. The pond and the walking path and fire pit area were meticulously maintained. We hooked up to shore power using a 75' power cable, although we didn't need air conditioning. We will definitely return.

If you’re looking for a quiet, private spot to put your camper near Lovell, don’t pass this one up. Great amenities with a gas grill, small pond, water to fill your tank, 30/50 amp electric, beautifully manicured property, a great fire pit and it’s close to town but you’d never know it. I highly recommend Brenda and her spot. Great people who provide one of the best HipCamp sites I’ve stayed at.

It was a gorgeous property with gorgeous views. The views are definitely unbelievable, and the sunset was gorgeous. However, we brought our two dogs, and I want to mention that the whole area is filled with Foxtails and little burs that love to get stuck in their fur. It was a little cumbersome, getting stuck all over my gear too, but worth it for the gorgeous view. We would hands-down stay here again. It was a little difficult to get to, I would make sure you ask the house for an official address before going! We got lost a little bit and were able to find the location using the information on the stay.

This place is the place to be for a beautiful and quiet stay. Close enough to everything, but you still feel like you're out of it all. Such a well kept area with a tranquil little pond. The animals are friendly as is the host. Very pleased.
