The Longhorn is a lovely and very well-equipped RV park. The sites are not all lined up in a row and crammed in. Each one has its own breathing room. We are not normally RV Park guests, but we needed to take care of some business and this was the perfect place. The river that runs through it is a lovely river. We highly recommend this resort.

We stayed in the Dry Site Riverfront and really enjoyed our stay. Folks in the front office were very nice. The river behind the sites was peaceful. The bathrooms were nice and clean.

Our site was on the back side along the river with a beautiful view of the river and badlands. The sites here a more spread out with lots of trees and shade. The full hookups worked and are in good condition. We were a short walk to the bathhouse that has 6 individual bathroom / showers that were private and clean. 5 minutes from Dubois. The office ppl are very friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed in many campgrounds including KOAs and this place is one of the best we’ve ever used. The only issue we had was that a few of the laundry washers were not working for us but someone came out and got it going. We will definitely stay here again.

The sight was spacious among lovely trees. The shower house was very clean. Any questions or problems were quickly answered and taken care of.
It was very quiet at night. We could highly recommend this campground.

Beautiful site in a scenic part of Wyoming. We enjoyed hearing the wild life while still having access to the road in case of emergency. The lot was pretty clean but did have some remnants of possibly old shelters or sheds of some kind. Having the bathroom was so great even just a pit toilet can change the whole camp experience. Overall it was a nice private area and we felt safe and comfortable.

This was a fantastic RV park in a great location! We greatly appreciated the little camp store and the facilities - there is a central building with bathroom/shower combo rooms that were free and available to all (especially appreciated this when we noted a leak in our RV shower!). Great distance from town (Dubois) and there were trail rides on horses available right out of the park (we didn’t go, but thought it was an awesome convenient activity for those who were interested!). Very quiet campground and super friendly staff/hosts. Sites were huge and easily maneuverable. No issues at all with any hookups (we were at a FHU site). Would absolutely stay again!

I particularly liked my campsite – which was right along the Wind river. Did not check out the restrooms as I came late and left early but the on-site laundromat was squeaky clean and the on-site general store had an ice cream sandwich that became dinner. I noticed people with dogs walking along the grassy area along the river.

Peaceful spot to post up after fly fishing around Dubois. The private shower/toilet rooms were a huge bonus after a long day out on the Wind River. Sites are that not private or well spaced out, but all campers were respectful of noise and it was silent at night, just the peaceful sound of the river. I was one of the few campers in a rooftop tent, most folks had large RVs and Fifth Wheels. Some tree cover, so expect spotty Starlink connection and solar input.

Site #48 is the last riverfront site, so you only have a neighbor on one side. I'd recommend this spot for the most privacy all other sites are rather tight. I spent another two nights in site #37 and I felt like I was in my neighbors site... and I know they felt the same, they ended up moving their bug shelter to give us both a little more space, which was nice of them.
Pros: Full hookups and well maintained showers and toilets, camping directly on the Wind River, respectful campers all around during my stay. Good shade at most sites.
Cons: Tight sites with little privacy, shade from tress does impact solar and Starlink.
Note: I've never experienced this at a campsite or Hipcamp before, but you'll have to provide a credit card number upon arrival for a security deposit. The front desk took the number, but never actually ran it or put a temporary hold down. I was fine with this, was not a problem, just sharing to set expectations for future Hipcampers!

A short drive from the Tetons but a hidden gem. It’s off the highway but the noise hardly bothers you. The sites are spacious and very well kept. The horses are a blast and if you aren’t afraid you can sit outside and watch the friendly bats eat the bloodsuckers by the river. Very cool place.
