We are located 4 miles from Routt National Forest. You'll arrive at the ranch headquarters and we will either take you to the sheep wagon or give you directions to it. The sheep wagon is nestled in an Aspen grove (on 56 acres) with a creek just 12 feet away. From there, you are 1/4 mile away from the national forest and the wilderness. There are thousands of acres to explore, either by hiking , biking or horseback riding. You are also just minutes away from great trout fishing lakes and streams. While here ask about ranch tours and visiting with our sheep, horses, cows and chickens! There will be cattle or sheep on the property with the sheep wagon. Please note that cell phone service is very limited in the area.

Welcome to our property! This is a very scenic property, that is rich with history. The Virginia Dale Stage Station is about three miles away and the overland trail has several branches going through here. We are also a fifth generation cattle ranch. We are in Wyoming, on Highway 287 between Fort Collins, CO. and Laramie, Wyoming. We are still building out our property with a General store, and Western Themed Town coming soon. We have campsites for RV’s or Tents. We have an amazing 1000 acres to have your own hiking, wildlife, birdwatching, adventure. We have great hiking and wildlife viewing, marmots, pronghorn, antelope, deer, elk, and an occasional moose. Birds of every feather gather here so bring your binoculars. Hikes include balancing boulders and rock formations. Wonderful stargazing, our stars are so bright it seems like you can reach up and touch them. We are a working ranch and do have livestock. Don’t mess with the bull!Firewood, for $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. The bags make a great trash bag when empty! Do not bring your own firewood, as we don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. Due to the high volume of people coming in separate vehicles, after two vehicles per site, its $10.00 per vehicle extra per night. We have portable outhouses available.

Cabin camping w/electricity, electric heat, microwave, mini fridge, propane grill, out house access to a not shared, sunroom, hot tub, full bathroom, at main house approx. 80 ft from Little Cabin. The Little Cabin offers a mountain basecamp, getaway, vacation or over night travel stop 30 miles from LARAMIE, WY, I80, WY 130, US 287, Co 125, 2.5 miles from Woodslanding/WY 230. No cell service but wi-fi available in the sunroom. Depending on the time of year there are various outdoor activities nearby to enjoy. Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing. There are Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, Snowy Range Down Hill Ski Area all with in a 60 mile radius. There is public access to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs next to it. Saratoga, WY Hot Springs are about 90 miles west and makes for a beautiful drive. Snowy Range Mountain offers trails for hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing, Star gazing from the Little Cabin, Gazebo or hot tub is amazing. There is no light pollution which allows a view of the stars some have never seen.
