The cabin build in 2023 and its 400sft but feels spacious, we got 2 queen size beds (very comfortable). One bedroom on the main level and 2nd on the top loft (fun for kids). Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave, tea pot. We use propane gas for a stove, new pots and pans for guests to use. On the porch you will find retro cooler for your coke and beers (bring ice). Cabin equipped with a/c/heater unit, there is Wi-Fi available. We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). You will enjoy drinking coffee with a beautiful mountain view. Also, there is picnic table and firepit chairs. You can bring your own propane firepit or rent from the office ($20). Welcome to one of the most magical places in Kittitas County. Here you will be the ONLY campers on this 1 acre site! The spot has a crystal clear 80/gpm well and power for you to use. There is plenty of room for extra tents or parking. The driveway can be challenging if you are new to trailering. There is a turn around for backing up but it is not a pull though. See photos ;) Here you will feel a world away but a 15 minute drive down the mountain and you are in downtown Cle Elum. The property is minutes away from the Yakima River, Hwy 10, I-90 and the Teanaway Forest. Fly fishing, rafting, hiking are all nearby. When the sun goes down get your chair ready. Sunsets are breathtaking and with little light pollution, the star gazing is incredible. This original 24 acre parcel and surrounding area was destroyed by the Taylor Bridge fire in August of 2012. The fire destroyed 61 homes and 36 square miles. Currently, NO FIRES of any kind, as there is a county wide burn ban in place. Well socialized dogs are ALWAYS welcome. The owner has a very friendly Aussie who will most likely manage to open a door and “sneak out” to say hello…. Note, the whole Kittitas Valley can be windy so come prepared just in case. Please write me with any questions you have. I have a rental cabin (Spring Creek Cabins) in the area too that is closer to Lake Cle Elum. Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving. Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes. The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area: 80 - 181 Mbps Down 5- 10.2 Mbps Up

I love this place so much. Cat is such a lovely, welcoming host. Her land is so private, quiet and beautiful! We saw every star in the sky, found some awesome rocks, and we are dreaming about when we get to come back again.

Weekend Trip to Top of the world!!!!!!!

First and foremost this land is gorgeous. There was a wonderful view and the area was very well cared for. The directions were very easy to follow and took me straight to the site (Apple Maps). I had a bit of hiccup with a flat tire and Jackie could not have been more helpful. She assisted me in this issue and that was the biggest act of kindness. I would’ve had to pay a lot for a tow and this was avoided by her help! It is nice to know that you’re booking with someone who genuinely cares for their property and for the people camping. Thank you again Jackie for your kindness, sharing your property and just being overall amazing. I cannot recommend this site enough!! :)

What a relaxing time at the treehouse! The bathroom view was a highlight. The house was well stocked including steak seasoning which we forgot. Directions were clear and it was easy to find. We would love to come back.

Weekend Trip to Cowiche Canyon Orchard Cabin-Heated

I really enjoyed the space. This was a halfway point to get to Great Prosser Balloon Festival by 6a Saturday morning. I picked up a Walmart order then straight to the Cathaus. (We didn’t see the cat). I pulled together a little dinner. Maria had some dishes and utensils but I’d brought my own. I went and sat on the covered area overlooking the apple orchard with my dog. The local winery next door had an evening concert going, so even had a little entertainment. The workers cabin was cute. Nothing too fancy or too shabby. The full size bed was cozy. I’m not a huge fan of foam form pillows but at 4a I discovered one of the bunk beds had a fluffy pillow. Too bad I didn’t check around 9p when I turned in. 🙂 My border collie did well. There was ample lighting once dark to see the path to the outhouse. Plenty of books to browse or read if any guest wants to fill downtime. I enjoyed the location and the basket of homemade goodies to purchase. I guess if I had to provide any feedback, it might be to add some fairy lights maybe around the “kitchen” area. Everyone’s opinion will be different. I tend to like just a little light at night, typically in another room. The cabin was pitch dark when lights were out. I had brought some usb fairy lights with me and honestly I should have left them behind as a gift. Maybe I’ll throw my extra string in the mail to Maria. Thanks for the hospitality! Hope I have the opportunity to visit again.

We had a fantastic time at the treehouse. Great views with the sun setting by Mt Hood, and later stargazing. We would enjoy returning to this hipcamp next year, perhaps to see it in another season.

We spent two nights in the treehouse. The view was awesome! It was quiet, secluded and relaxing. The outside shower was super fun to use and inside the treehouse had everything you would need. Weather was perfect and we enjoyed the town of Goldendale.

The camp site was fantastic, well kept, right on the river with full hookups. It was peaceful and relaxing. The owners were wonderful, even offering to let us know if the site was ready early. The camp host was friendly and communication was great. We will definitely stay again and would highly recommend to others.
