The Owl's Nest Glamping Cabin, Fireflies RV Parking, Dark Skies tent sites, planned springtime tiny gardens and riverfront view on the James River. Plenty enough room for all to be with nature and play outdoor games. Relax, heal and gather with your family and close friends. We also welcome your well behaved pets!

This is an old railroad town with many stories to tell.  Learn more about this land:This is a fully furnished cabin close to the state park and walking distance to the river. This is located in a n old railroad town and is directly in front of the tracks. Yo will ear trains and see the 1800's depot from the front porch 2 bedrooms and full kitchen and bathroom.  For people that want to experience the state park but also want to or need to have full access to amenities of a home. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this early 1900's home boasts spacious rooms and serene porches. Situated across from the once booming Gladstone Depot, this rental is close to the James River State Park, the historic Appomattox Court House, and charming Lynchburg Virginia.  While here you can explore everything Virginia has to offer. It's just a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a scenic ride, a hike in the mountains, or a tubing trip down the James River. Other  activities could include taking in a live performance at Wolfbane Productions in Appomattox, just 12 miles away or taking some adult beverage tasting at any of the dozens of wineries, breweries, and distilleries.  Several establishments have outside seating and are within a 45 minute drive.

Miller Homestead

Conveniently located right in the middle of Charlottesville and Scottesville, VA on Rt.20 is our home. We are a 30 second drive to the popular Carters bridge put in on the Hardware River for river enthusiasts. Our land offers a big yard to camp in along with a campsite in the woods on our miniature white blazed Appalachian Trail.Learn more about this land:If you’re looking to visit Cville, plan to stay with us for a short drive into town. We have open space for RVs, car tenting, and camping as well. Take advantage of our expansive yard and sleep out under the stars. Or if you prefer a wooded campsite, go for a short walk in the woods and find a camp spot. A tree swing and picnic table are also available for relaxing. We live off of a main road so the cars can occasionally be noisy!

Farm/Animal Sanctuary

Peaceful, safe, and magical are just a few words guests use to describe our farm.  It's the perfect retreat to relax and reconnect with yourself and nature. Enjoy exploring the farm, spending time with our animals, and stargazing by the fire pit. 
We're located in historic Scottsville Virginia (the heart of Virginia’s Monticello Wine Region). Seated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the 25 acre farm is home to many domestic, farm and wild animals. The lush green rolling pastures offer exquisite views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and direct access to the James River. It truly is a serene private paradise.
Our farm is on the James River and we encourage guests to enjoy fishing, tubing, kayaking, canoeing or just floating off the beach. We’re 420-friendly! Please let us know if you're bringing dogs or cats. 
Our focus at the farm is two-fold. Promote agro-ecotourism and support our sister non-profit, Gentle Moon Conservancy. The mission of Gentle Moon is to provide lifetime care and shelter for animals in-need and inspire environmental stewardship through the power of individual action.

We love the beauty and spirit of our farm so much that we want to share it with people who appreciate a peaceful vibe. You'll find that we are very relaxed and inclusive and welcome guests to enjoy the farm for all it has to offer.
