Spring Lake Farm Guides Quarters

Located on 43 acres the Guides Quarters is located near our 16-acre spring-fed lake. With a queen bed in the upper loft area and a futon in the lower area, it sleeps 3 comfortably. A private bathhouse is less than 200 feet away. Heat and fans provided, no AC. A working farm with chickens, goats and Bo, our bloodhound greeter dog.

La La Land Farm

La La Land is the realized dream of two retired Army Veterans.
 Owned since 2014, the owners have been steadily turning the farm into their vision of a place that's part horse farm, part peaceful retreat, with room to roam and amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
 The farm is 58 acres of pastures and woods, with 2 creeks and 20 acres of trails suitable for horses and atv's.

If you want to stay on the hill above the creek, there is a flat area next to the hunting stand to pitch your tent.  You can climb the stand for a great view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Harris Farm Grown

We have owned our property for 10 years and have grown our family farm starting with Tennessee Walking horses and now Black Angus cattle.  Our farm has organic pastures for our cattle to roam.  We have 2 ponds for fishing or paddle boating. Plenty of nature to watch or just plain relaxing in Mother Nature. 
The horses are friendly... so are the dogs!Learn more about this land:Park your camper on one of our spots and enjoy the quiet of way off the asphalt! Enjoy the Fire ring and picnic table area nearby for s’mores or just hanging out under the stars listening to the frogs. This is a working farm with cattle in the fields grazing and horses out in the pastures. Several pups have run of the land and are very people friendly. Please note: Site 1 has 50 amp power and Site 2 has 20 amp power.

Free ranging donkeys and a pig are nearby. On the property there is a walking trail with more to come! There is an all natural playground area for children, volleyball court, tether ball, gaga pit, etc. available. Site is accessible to VIR Speedway, Averett University, Hargrave Military Academy and Chatham Hall. Within a 15 minute drive there are quaint little shops. Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill are an hour away.Learn more about this land:Hipcampers can expect a bare shelter with a hammock available.  The shelter itself is easy to access with a ramp.  It is surrounded by woods and small fields.   Free ranging donkeys and a pig are very close nearby.  May wake up to donkeys braying! Within walking distance is a ADA accessible bathhouse with showers .  Pool available after 5 PM. There is an all natural playground area for children, volleyball court, tether ball, gaga pit, etc. available.  Site is accessible to VIR Speedway, Averett University, Hargrave Military Academy and Chatham Hall.  Within a 15 minute drive there are quaint little shops.  Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill are an hour away.

This campsite is nestled into a quiet and forested area that will give you ultimate quiet and privacy. We are near to Alta vista if you need to pop into town for some additional services. You can also head out on a swim or hike by visiting Lewisville Lake or English Park!  About the listingThis listing is for tent camping and there is only one site so you will have plenty of privacy! There is an expansive area of forest in the back for camping so please take your pick. Please park your car in the front paved driveway, front yard,  or in the front of the street. Then walk towards back towards the campground area. The home is vacant currently so please don’t worry about other folks onsite.Our campsite is family friendly and includes the following amenities:-Campfires are allowed though there is no fire pit-Pets are allowed on site-There is wheelchair access-Pets are allowed on site-There is a composting toilet available-There is wifi available and some cell receptionAdditional details to noteIf you would like to have a campfire please make sure to BYO firewood. We do not have a kitchen or cooking supplies so plan to bring your own equipment. There is no potable water provided so please bring your own water for drinking and cooking.

We took a picnic basket and tried to find the best place to settle in. 

This is the vacant house at the front of the property. The host told us there was a trail behind it, however, I believe he needs to mow a new one, because we were not able to find a trail.
