A Swell Oasis in the desert of the San Rafael Swell: Swell Retreat. A pine tree farm was active prior to us purchasing the land, so lots of beautiful trees. A couple ponds stocked with large mouth bass. Zipline, WIBIT, water slide, etc.
A field of hay, and continued improvements to make it into a Swell Retreat!!!
We are a great spot to stay and have onsite a zip line into Lake Elevate, water slide into the pond, adventure island, zipline, kayaking, paddle boarding,
catch and release fishing, and close to all fun in the San Rafael Swell.
20 min or so from three reservoirs for additional fishing,
swimming and motor boating, 30 minutes from the Little Grand Canyon for breathtaking views, hiking and mountain biking, petroglyphs and the San Rafael Swell river to float on, 60 minutes from Goblin Valley, within 60 minutes to multiple slot canyons: Little Wild Horse Canyon, Muddy Creek, The Chute (similar to Zion National Park), Baptist Draw, to name a few.
Mountain fun for rock climbing just up the road in Joe's Valley, hiking, biking, fishing, etc. We would love to have you stay on our little farm while you enjoy the fun of the San Rafael Swell adventures.

Easy access to campsite on a 15 acre farm. Campsite is close to owners home with access to lawn for tents. The beautiful sounds of birds can be heard nestlings in the trees.
If you are lucky you may experience the smell of fresh cut hay and indulge in the fresh home grown fruit in the fall that owners will share with you.
Always relaxing to see the gorgeous sunsets as you sit by a fire or just relax in the great outdoors. Access is easy via paved county road.

This site is located an a lovely farm and as it has only one site, you have complete privacy. The host was a very friendly gentleman who welcomed me on arrival and checked again on me in the morning but otherwise left me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Although the water was turned off for the season, I did have electricity. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time! Lacy was very responsive and helpful at every step of the way. There were plenty of picnic tables, camp stoves, strong lights and a canopy on-site which made a group camping trip a delightful breeze. We enjoyed kayaking and playing in the pond and wish we had booked 2 nights instead of 1! We will definitely book again.

This is our second visit to the Swell Retreat and we can’t wait to go back for our next visit! There are so many amenities and the owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. The sites are all fully stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. The water activities are AMAZING! Our kids absolutely love it, our dogs love it, and so do we.

Peaceful spot, nestled in the Utah countryside on a private ranch. Just close enough to do a day trip to Capitol Reef.
Water & Electric (50/30amp). Our 38’ travel trailer & Ford F250 (8’ bed) was a bit challenging in legth, but we managed to find a good way to park in the designated horseshoe spot. We would recommend this spot to anyone looking for some peace & quiet in the countryside.

The most amazing getaway! Perfect for families or couples. The hosts Ben & Lacy were the MOST AMAZING hosts. We rode the horses and had so many laughs. My daughter would say this is the BEST camping trip she has been on. My son, enjoyed all the rocks and dirt. The amenities are beyond amazing. We will be back!

This is my favorite campsite we've ever stayed at, it's great for kids and dogs! The campsites are very nice (comes with water, grills, covered tables) and we rented one of their trailers to stay in which was also great. The water activities onsite are amazing - the water is pretty warm so swimming is enjoyable, (I have thyroid issues AND I'm pregnant so I'm extremely sensitive to the cold and even I had no problem in the water) and there are a bunch of kayaks and stuff that were super fun too. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We were super delayed in getting here so we arrived close to 11pm and they were still here to greet us and show us to our campsite. They even helped us transfer our stuff to the campsite. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Bella and Jerry are wonderful host and very welcoming. They shared a knowledge of local and regional outdoor sites with us and also recommended a nice Mexican restaurant that was good and also reasonably priced. Their site was amply sized and has a nice view of the mountains. In all a very enjoyable stay.
