The Fairy Meadow was beautiful and private. Matthew was very nice and answered all our questions. I would definitely camp here again!

We loved Rusty (the campground dog) and the campground was just lovely! Matthew was a wonderful host and brought us firewood which was a big help!

Matthew was an amazing host and we would definitely come back here to camp again for sure! :) This was our first time camping out and testing our new tent and having the canopy, propane cook stove, tables, plastic chairs, fresh paper towels, fire pit and our own little out house was perfect. My kiddos love running around all the campsite playing soccer and in the dirt and with sticks and our little campfire too. Rusty the friendly doggy and Matthew stopped by so I could pay cash for some fire wood, card board and kindling and left us to do our thing. We went for a little hike to get to the creek which was like mint green color and a lot bigger than we expected. So it was my kiddos first time kayaking and another family was nice enough to help us get in and out of the kayak too. We're definitely gonna come back here again and was so happy to find somewhere cool to camp on the memorial day and it was definitely memorable for sure. :)

What a lovely, peaceful, and thoughtful space. Matt thought of everything. Loved my individual pit toilet - open to nature. I so appreciated the prep table and propane burner. Had a lovely time sleeping and meandering.

We had such a nice time at the Fairy Meadow! Lots of space, covered camp kitchen area came in handy during rain, and had lots of fun exploring. So quiet compared to crowded public campgrounds. Thanks for hosting us!

I had such a good time at feral farms that I ended up returning the next week with just my dog and I! Matthew puts a lot of work into the place and makes it easy to show up and quickly set up camp, I also bought wood from Matthew and it was more than enough, easy to get and cheaper than buying it locally. I'll definitely be back soon!

The fairy meadow at Feral Farm
I was impressed with the whole experience! The walk through the fairy like woods with tiny homes that are each uniquely built and named such as the wizards house, access to a small creek and even though there were other campers at other sites, they are far enough apart where I didn’t even notice that they were there! We had requested wood which was delivered to us and we didn’t even notice lol it was an incredible adventure and place to camp!! I highly recommend it to anyone!! Thank you so much to the genius owner who provided this experience to myself and others who have camped there!!

PERFECT!!!! Rented the Fairy Meadow for a group of lady rock hounders and it was perfect. Lots of options for tent camping and car camping (we were mixed). Quiet, beautiful, dog friendly and perfect location for Bakers lake. We will be back next year!

The feral farm is a great place to go camping! The space was clean and ready when we showed up, and the amenities were great to have during our stay too. Matthew was quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. We will definitely be back soon!

Camped here for my birthday and absolutely loved the property. It was a nice, private, well-kept trails and a creek to kayak. The site was easy to find and there’s LOTS of space to let the dogs run! Our dogs had an absolute blast playing through the camp. Would definitely be coming back.

Really awesome spot. Very beautiful. Lots of space at the Fairy Meadow site. Matthew is very quick to respond to messages and was very accommodating. Toilet did not smell and was very clean. We loved our stay and would definitely come back again.

So glad we chose to stay on Matthew’s land, private, lush, saw several slugs, the creek access was gorgeous! Great location. The amenities were perfect. Would love to stay here again!

Great little escape with easy access. Really close to Howard miller steelhead park if you’re fishing but want to camp away from the crowds.

We absolutely loved the fairy meadow, it was so magical and such a private large area for our growing friend group family. We loved Rusty, the camp host dog, checking in on us and Matthew is super responsive and helpful. The compost toilet was a shock to see that it was open to the woods, but honestly was a lovely view to look at on the toilet 😂 lol! The kitchen area has so much and the being able to use the boats/canoe/paddle boards in the creek was amazing! We are definitely coming back someday! Thank you so much, Matthew 🫶

We had an excellent time at the Nut Grove site on feral farm. It was really helpful to have water provided along with table, chairs, and canopy. Matt was very responsive and showed up with a wheelbarrow of firewood for us within minutes of texting him a question about where we could obtain some. As others have noted, the mosquitos were really the only downside of our stay but a citronella candle and lots of bug spray helped keep them at bay. We had a great little paddle out on the creek and a nice hike over at Rockport state park. Great first camping trip with our toddler, would absolute recommend .

What an amazing place to camp. A wonderful base of operations for exploring North Cascades National Park. Campsite was clean and spacious (plenty for 3-4 people). Would 100% come back next summer.

Great campsite to stay in overall, good privacy, good shade from the sun, loved the nearby creek and trails available on the property. Matthew is super friendly and gave us a tour of everything. Would definitely recommend!

Site is equipped as advertised. Tent area is a short 20 steps from parking spot. Site is level with ample room. It is about as private and quiet as a spot can be. Outhouse is like new and very clean. An easy drive to the National Park.

What a lovely spot! This was the perfect distance from Seattle to get away for a day and the detailed directions were super easy to follow. It was such a nice additive to have the canopy tent with chairs, camp stove, water, and other necessities to cook with. The "bathroom" was also clean and private! The walk to the creek was beautiful but that water was coooold. I do hope we get to come back when the temps are a bit higher! Our pup loved getting to be off leash. 10/10 stay!

This is a place somewhere I keep coming back to. It has all the amenities and is such an easy place to spend dome great nights outside with easy access to great hiking/exploration. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. Highly, highly recommend.

Staying at the Nut Grove was a great experience, the site was beautiful and very private! The included amenities like the tables and propane burner were very nice to have, and the canopy tent on the site probably saved our trip when it began to rain heavily during the night. Matt and the others at Nut Grove were very friendly and helpful as well, including the cute dogs on the farm :)

This place was awesome and Matthew was very helpful. The creek was beautiful. They also provided some little boats to use in the creek. It was big enough for our 8 person tent plus some space. The outhouse was clean and there was extra toilet paper. My only minor complaint would be the little dog that barked all day and night. I'd still book again though

This is a great spot as a basecamp for hiking in NCNP! The space is private and easy to cook, clean, and relax. Good cell coverage for Verizon.

I loved tent camping at the Nut grove! The stove, extra water, table and canopy made car camping super easy. Also, Rusty is the sweetest dog and welcomed us to the campsite.
