Alpaca Ranch

You’ll enjoy the views from front and back decks of this super comfy cottage. Studio style with plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen will make your staycation memorable. Minimum stay is 2 nights, but you’ll soon find out that 3 nights are best! Cottage has a kingsize bed, additional sleeping arrangements include a full size air bed.

Goats Gone Wild!

We started our farm in 2010 with the desire to teach our kids about hard work and where food really comes from. We purchased goat milk after our daughter had trouble digesting cow milk as a child. Then we bought a goat, and a few more, and the rest is history! We now sell cheese and milk all over the Rio Grande Valley and throughout Texas via HEB!Learn more about this land:Set up camp here at Thompson Dairy Farms, a small goat dairy located about 15 minutes off the coast of the southern tip of Texas. A fully functioning farm complete with about 70 dairy goats, cows, chickens, ducks, pigs, guinea fowl, and a donkey! Bathroom and showers available, as well as breakfast!

SUNSET HILLS RANCH AND CAMPSITES

11 prairie acres in South Texas, 19 minutes North from Rio Grande City and 50 minutes from Edinburg, Texas. Where the rolling hills begin with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We have a main Shelter for $100 dollars a night (temporarily closed) and 2 spaces for camping for $40 dollars. We also have equipment and camping utensils with extra cost, if you do not have yours. You can choose to spend the day relaxing reading a book, drink your favorite wine or just having a few beers on the porch. Start the day with a delicious breakfast with eggs from our chickens, if your children come with you, they will have fun playing outdoor games, herding sheep and goats or going to say hello to Cleo and Kevin, our peacocks, and for course take a picture with Whiskey, our nice pony. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a barbecue in the outdoor dining table at the main cabin or picnic table in your campsite and at night, light the fire pit and enjoy a S'more while looking up the stars. You can also bring your ATVs, bicycles or horses and use the ranch trails, not through the pasture, with and under your responsibility (bring your own feed for your horses and pets, we do not have stables, therefore your horses must rest tied in a designated place or in your trailer, likewise your dogs must be on a leash, only trained dogs, hunt or prey breeds are not allowed).

Wildcatter Heirs Hunting Camp

Learn more about this land:In the heart of brush country Realitos, Texas.  You will find  Tienditas Ranch whom hosts the Wildcatter Heir Hunting Camp.  On the 8 acre ranch you’ll discover; white wing dove, south Texas Quail, wild turkeys, Javalina, wild boars, coyotes, an ocelot or two, roadrunners, rabbits. Because the area is a brushy thorn woodland region of Texas. Much wildlife can thrive in the thick brushy canopy of the terrain. Making it an abundant hunter’s paradise and a opportunity to capture wildlife In pictures. Legend has it a black panther roams in the woods near by.  You may; hunt (for added cost), forage, target practice, team build, enjoy the scenery.  

Horse House

The Horse House Corpus Christi is located at 1325 Yorktown Blvd. in Flour Bluff. This stunning privately owned and operated facility is located on 20 acres, with rolling green pasture grass,  pond,  beautiful landscape and gated entrance. There is plenty of ridding room for those who like to trail ride. We have two large out door round pen's one 60' and the other is 45', outdoor arena 60'x145', 3 set of adjustable jumps, schooling cones, trotting poles, and trail obstacles, barrel pattern and poles. Large temperature control tack room, feed room, and wash rack. We have been improving our facility and amenities and will continue to do so. Our goal is to provide our clients with an affordable, beautiful, safe and fun experience and provide our horses with the best of the best care. Mis Raices

Being a part of the Spanish & Mexican Land Grant granted to Francisco Farias by Spain in 1808.....but there is no copy in the Texas General Land Office of this title....the land was confirmed by the Legislature, Act of February 10, 1852, and said tract was also called "Santa Cruz" (Confirmation No. 6 for the County of Starr) My heritage is very important to me. I have followed my roots back to early 1700s. You will have a glimpse of my story. The water container on the property is almost 100 years old.  The stones were harvested from nearby.Learn more about this land:We are a small hole in south Texas.  My paternal grandfather migrated to the Rio Grande Valley and bought his piece of Mis Raices. (My roots)You will witness the most amazing view of the stars @ night.  You will hear and hopefully see the wild.  Birds, deer, rabbits, fresh air.

This 70 acre ranch is part of Ignacio DeLa Pena Spanish Land Grant. Learn more about this land:La Dueña Ranch hosts Wildcatter Heirs Hunting Camp, and is part of the Ignacio De La Pena 1831 Spanish Land grant. 
There is a pond for the wildlife to quench their thirst. The terrain is brush thorny woodlands. 
Camp property is found west off of HWY 281, south of Premont in Jim Wells County, Texas.
