The property has a house, a cabin and in the middle of the two there is a pool next to a small lake (if Reserve it 3 nights the pool be came exclusive), a barbecue gas grill and tables for a small pool party
The property is outside of the city limits but is close to the city, 15 minutes from walmart. If you have specific questions fill free to text. Wifi upon request.
We have deer during the season, wild hogs, a temporary river, creek, several ponds to fish, area to to ride ATVs, many trees, plus we are working in developing for more activities in the future

Glamp in total comfort in a shipping container cabin! No need to rough it! (Or stay with us if attending local wedding venues. Guests tell us our place is neater and cleaner than hotels in the area.) Cabin has comfy beds (sleeps 5), full kitchen and full bathroom. You’ll have AC / Heat, hot water, shower, even an oven if you want to bake! Lots of open space. 18 acres with pasture areas and mature trees!
"Steel Owl Camp" consists of a cabin and 18 acres of quiet and peaceful open space with pasture areas and mature trees! Entire property included in your booking. Steel Owl Camp offers a quiet and cozy space - no crowds or noise. Note: Narrow street - sharp turn into driveway - anything over a large SUV or pickup truck may not be able to enter the gate.
Bring your mountain bike or take a relaxing walk on the historic "Chaparral Rail Trail" which runs along the rear of this property. Total trail is 35 miles.
These are also available on-site or you can bring your own! Cornhole, bocce, washer toss, badminton, volleyball, lawn darts, horseshoes, several beach balls (we use these for easy volleyball).
City benefits are only a few minutes away. Located in Wolfe City - sits between Leonard and Wolfe City centers - each is 10 minutes away. 20 minutes from Texas AM-Commerce; Walmart; restaurants. 45 minutes from Mckinney. Jim Chapman Lake, Bois D'Arc Lake, and Lake Bonham are within a 45 minute drive.
