. These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. (Both Diamond A and Walmart sell fishing licenses if you need one. Dogs are allowed at sites 3 and 4 but not at 1 or 2 where my livestock guardian dogs have access to. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock in the area frequently I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you. Come and stay at our four acre riverfront property right on the Guadalupe! Half of the property is at higher elevation, with a nice sunset vista and breezy camping spots. Parking is also located up here. A short walk down a gated ravine takes you to the lower-leveled riverfront part of the property. This area offers 1-2 camping spots on a wooden deck, and 2-3 camping spots on the rock/concrete pavilion overlooking the fire pit and benches. The riverfront amenities include a gas grill, a cooler, a fire pit (firewood included but always subject to a burn ban), and well water for a hose shower (not for drinking). There is well water on the upper part of the property as well. No fires are permitted up top. Enjoy the views up top and the amenities down below. Set up your camp wherever works best for you! Note: There is no electricity or bathrooms on the property. Please pack out what you pack in. We rent the entire property to one person/reservation at a time. Up to 10 people on the property allowed or $25 per extra person. Cast a line in the Guadalupe and enjoy the bass and catfish fishing — If you're interested in a fishing guide for a 2-3 hour morning run, the cost is $250.00. The guide will pick you up on the banks of the property around 7am, and you'll be off the water by 10am. Subject to his availability. Feel free to BYO kayak or canoe. Life jackets highly encouraged! The property is on ALT 90, 5 miles east of Diamond A Gas Station and Doss BBQ, in Belmont, Texas. It is 10 miles west of Gonzales (home of the "Come and Take It" cannon legend and birthplace of Texas independence). They have an HEB, local Mexican food, and plenty of fast food options. Weekend Trip to River Grove Campground

The camp site was excellent. Very secluded and right on the water. You're camping on grass and sand, so no mud (which is excellent since it rained overnight during our stay). Do know that you can hear some highway noise in the distance but cannot see any car lights. Overall a great stay and we'll be coming back!

3 nights at Wild and Boujee Ranch

We really enjoyed our 4 day 3 night stay at Wild and Boujee right on the Colorado River. This spot is pretty secluded and offers a nice quite place to relax, fish, explore and unwind. The river sites, while 100% dry campsites offer ample shade and easy access to the water. We felt having a few more spots along the waters edge cleaned up a little would have allowed for more fishing opportunities where the water is a bit deeper. We definitely have this marked as a go to place close by our house for future trips. We really want to check this spot out during the summer. There is access to a water faucet close to the RV pads and Tent/Cabin which was nice for us to top off our small offgrid camper.

I hosted a dog mom camping trip with a few of my friends and it was the perfect location. Secluded from the other campsites and right on the Guadalupe river. All of our dogs enjoyed the river and we enjoyed the spots under the shade! Truly an amazing place to spend time with friends.

Weekend Trip to Dead End Creek

This was an amazing place - secluded, peaceful, and beautiful. I fed the turtles and fish in the creek a few yards away. Skull Tree was magical. I had to leave early for a personal emergency, but I'll definitely return. Hope you get to enjoy it!

The camp is exactly what we needed! As we had several large dogs with us, it allowed our dogs to have the space and privacy that we needed as well as a nice peaceful vacation. Having the electricity there was very helpful! It was quiet and peaceful, and even though we had to move the trailer to dump and fill up water, it was still what we were looking for! And everything was there on site. Our host page was responsive and helpful! Would definitely stay again.

Nice quiet place to spend the night. Close to The Twelve81 Venue. RV spot was easy to find. Only problem was tree branches hanging down where I wanted to park. The branches just need to be trimmed up. Good value for the price. Definitely recommend for a short stay.

Weekend Trip to Shady Forest View Small RV Camping

We were lucky to find this site! We needed a last minute camping site for our family reunion at the state park and crossed our fingers that we would get a good one. Craig was a great host, gave us a tour of the property when we arrived, and even swapped us to a better site for our tents last minute. The bathroom and shower were clean and functional and the property is wooded and hilly and picturesque. There is definitely some highway noise early in the evening (being pretty close to 71 we weren’t surprised), but it quieted down as it got later and we could hear owls and coyotes and other wildlife. We would definitely book again.

This was a great spot! Robert was very welcoming. The directions were clear and the spot was exactly as pictured, with full hookups and a covered parking spot and picnic table. I had a very peaceful week here!

Weekend Trip to Dead End Creek

We had a great time! Lots of space at Coyote Corner for a large group and Skull Tree is a pretty cool more intimate spot with a lot of shade. There was a nice peaceful spot to sit overlooking the creek. Outhouse was solid and had a solid toilet to sit on, very clean. It was nice seeing the cows up close and our dogs had a blast out there. Alana was a five star host and went above and beyond to take care of our needs. We look forward to booking there again soon.

We fully enjoyed staying at Bridgette’s place. We were a small group at site 3 with 2 tents, a truck tent and small travel trailer. We had plenty of space. There was another group at site 2. We could hardly hear each other (but did play some songs together). It was nice to have the bathroom close. It even had hot water. We look forward to staying there again.

Loved this spot! The location was perfect, easy to find, and great for setting up a large tent. We set up a 16ft bell tent. It’s close enough to town for convenience but far enough to feel like you’re in a completely different, peaceful place.

The boats are meant for one but there's just enough room for a friend (provided it's a dog).

Weekend Trip to Matt B.’s Land Treehouse!!

At first we were worried we weren't going to have enough room, but we worked it all out and Man... This place is awesome. The swing under the tree house was so peaceful. You are completely secluded. NOBODY around. The pizza oven was a huge success with the kids. All around it was a very private place to just relax and forget about the week you had.
