This is our second time staying at Dos Rios. We always have a great time. The tent had everything it needed but was a little dirtier inside than what I expected after staying in the Jupe properties but nothing that would deter us from coming back. The host is super friendly and helpful. We love the proximity to the river and neighboring towns.

We stayed in a jupe site, âprivate side,â we had our children and grandchildren in two tents (4-6 man tents) the spot was perfect for us. A short stroll down to the river where we were beach front and basically had our own little sections. Kids loved the cliff jumping, our granbabies loved playing in the shallow end finding beautiful little river rocks and shells. Bathroom and shower was also a short stroll which was super convenient. The jupe itself was a great size, nice and breezy we didnât have to use ac or heat weather was perfect! Iâd highly suggest canopies like we did the sun will getcha in this spot especially as it gets hotter. We would totally stay here again but might just rent both Jupes for more family to attend!

We enjoyed our stay in the big cabin. It fit our family of 7 and we had plenty of things to do! This place was perfect for kids, even toddlers. We felt safe the entire time and the property manager was there if we needed anything. Weâll definitely come back, but with friends!!!

We loved staying in the Ultimate Privacy Jupe. We swam, fished, paddle boarded and explored all day. The river access was awesome and we enjoyed the site a lot. The bed was comfy and we stayed warm and dry during an evening thunder storm. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at Tentrr 5B. Great camping site. The river nearby is awesome/clean water and good fishing. Very remote and was quiet at night.
Campsites are very close together so not really private. Hosts are nice. The bed was comfortable. Downside is the public restrooms and showers are absolutely disgusting/dirty. Itâs worse than a nasty truck stop. I would not advise anyone much less a woman use them. Overall, though itâs a good place with great river access but if youâre looking for somewhere that you have a little privacy this is not it as there are RVâs/campsites stacked right on top of each other and people are everywhere. If you donât want that then you should go somewhere else.
Also the James River Icehouse is right across the road from the campground and itâs excellent!! Great burgers and people there are super friendly!!

Dos Rios was there PERFECT spot for my family! We stayed 3 nights at the Tiny Cabin 12. It had everything we needed from kitchen appliances, to clean bedding and towels! This space accommodated me my partner, my 8 month old, 8 year old and our German shepherd. Super comfortable, nice AC, hot showers, and a fire pit to cook on outside. The main guy that was working there helped us as soon as we arrived! He was a huge help to us during our stay! The river area was so beautiful every morning and evening, very clean around the whole RV park. I highly recommend this place to anyone especially if you have kids or pets! Everyone around us was very respectful and polite â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ We will be back again!

1 night at Dos Rios - Hill Country Adventure
I had the pleasure of staying in 5A already set up Tents with a stunning from the bed. SO peaceful and relaxing, near the bathhouse with hot showers. Clean, comfortable and as a single person traveling I felt safe here!!

Host worked with us to change into a cabin last minute due to cold front that would have otherwise stopped us from staying overnight. The team was helpful and the site as a whole was really neat. Hoping to go again in summer to experience the river more.

Group trip
First time staying here and was a great experience! Campground is well maintained and so many cool accommodations. The cabins were clean and had everything we needed for our stay, beds were comfy and cozy. Camp hosts were accommodating. We were able to have our dog off leash (being respectful of others of course) which was a huge plus for us as we walked up and down the river. Site bathrooms were heated, another big plus especially if we were to come back and tent camp. Canât wait to book in the summer and take advantage of the rental kayaks and canoes!

Great stay! The Jupes are gorgeous and brilliantly designed! Lucked out by coming during the slower times so, entire property was very quiet.
