We also have incredible sunsets, unobstructed views, various wildlife (mostly deer and many birds). We will have a food tent with our Waste Not Farm organic beef: BBQ, burgers, sausage wraps, sausage on a stick, hotdogs, nachos, frito pie, drinks, ice, etc. We also have a new portable bathroom with electricity, sink and shower. There will be water available by the food tents. We’ll have yard games and outdoor movies. Plus a pond for fishing 🎣. Dark Sky camping with great views of meteor showers and full moons!!

Weekend Trip to The Reserve at GreenLeaf

We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts greeted us for a short intro to the place which was nice. I got some pointers on how to use a French Coffee press (you'll see) and we got the lay of the land. There are walking trails, a community fire pit (there are only 4 yurts), a pavilion with Corn Hole type games and a hot tub (didn't try it out). It was extremely peaceful and calm. A great place to forget about things for a couple of days. Also, Bastrop has a nice downtown area. We ate at Neighbors (?) downtown and enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river.

Weekend Trip to The Alexander at Creek Road

Very peaceful and relaxing.. Went with my grandson and his friend. They had A ball. Can't wait to come back this time with the husband. The Outdoor kitchen and fire pit was my favorite.
