Soooo many trees and such a beautiful property! We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The glamping set up is just perfect! Bed is super comfortable, camping cookware provided, electricity and unlimited firewood is a huge plus! Let’s not forget the coffee station and convenient location of the loo for all your bathroom needs. We had such a peaceful and relaxing time around the campfire, under the stars and moon. Exactly what we needed, a wonderful reset! The host is so friendly and responds quickly. Don’t hesitate and book this site, you will be in camping heaven!

Lovely place to stay with a lovely view. Lodging was clean and well kept, the host was kind and accommodating, and check out was simple. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, enjoying good views with coffee in the morning and stargazing with wine at night. We had a great time staying at Daniel's glamping site, about 15 miles from the entry to Colorado bend State park. The campsite and tent were clean and tidy and secluded in a cedar grove, with solar lights and a fire pit (wood included) and grill for cooking. There was a couple hundred yards walk to a full bathroom with a shower and wifi. An extra tent with cots and bedding was also available for the kids, and was setup prior to arrival. Overall a wonderful time, perfect for a short weekend at the park, and would absolutely stay again. Thanks Danny!

The setup was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a camping trip without the hassle of packing heavy gear. We had a great time! We are camping newbies and wanted to try it out without committing to buying a lot of gear if our kids weren't going to be okay with it. The site had everything we needed, even air conditioning and outlets - which was a nice bonus as it was still pretty warm during the days. My kids had a blast exploring the trails on the property and visiting the cows and donkey. We brought our golden retriever and he thoroughly enjoyed his time. We really appreciated the beds and set up, we were able to squeeze a pack and play and dog bed into the main tent with us (in addition to the provided bed and twin cot for our oldest). Daniel was quick to help us out when we needed it and made sure we had enough fire wood to last the weekend. The stars at night were well worth the trip, it was one of the things we were really looking forward to.

Lost horizon was a great experience for us. I’m in my 40’s and we enjoy camping but I am not into communal living or multiple units close together. This offered the seclusion we wanted and a fair price. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or at least a full size suv to get down the last stretch of road to the sites. Everything else is just as noted on the site and within the website for the property. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had a wonderful time staying at Lost Horizon with our two pups! We enjoyed the quiet and serene surroundings, saw mule deer and antelopes, and felt 100% rejuvenated and recharged. Cedar Glen Glampsite was so neat. There is an air conditioning and outlets, as well as a walk right outside to a camp eco friendly private luxury potty! The hundred acres are amazing and we got to meet Mo, the donkey, as well as the miniature cows. They reminded me of our chow chow puppy! Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. Plenty of room! The tent itself is very very spacious with the most comfortable bed. It is climate controlled and just as nice as a hotel room, but you can hear the owls at night...Danny is a very kind host.
