We have a 5 acre homestead/hobby farm that is nestled in the Sam Houston National Forest. We are off the beaten path with beautiful views, peace and quiet and farm animals! We have goats, donkeys, rabbits, a miniature cow, a miniature horse, a pony, ducks, geese, turkeys, peacocks and chickens roaming our property. We just had a new addition Colt who was born on our property March 12th 2023. He is our precious little donkey.
We are a semi primitive camping spot. Come and enjoy getting away from the city without going too far. Enjoy the beautiful star filled sky. Feed the animals at 9am and love on them all day. Have your professional pictures taken with some of the animals(additional charge). Buy some farm fresh eggs. We have t-shirts and other merchandise for purchase. We have two above ground pools in our backyard for your enjoyment. We just put in a deck for catch and release fishing. We have a hot tub for your relaxation from fall to spring.

Weekend Trip to Family Farms
The cabin was as advertised. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. We liked the privacy of the cabins location at the back of the property. However, there are cabins next to ours and there was no curtain on the window above the sink in the bedroom/kitchen area. The people outside at the next cabin were able to see I side our cabin. I suggest a curtain for the window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was so cool!! The tent was enormous and more than enough space for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The accommodations were cute and cozy and Cherise was extremely responsive and welcoming :)

2 nights at Big City Little Farm
The animals were awesome. Cld feel my stress level dropping with every pet, hold and carrot given. Cherise was above and beyond super hospitable. Glamping by the pond was just what I needed for a low stress camping trip without all the work.
