TARA was named after the sailboat TARA, pierce family started the vineyard in 2006 and opened the winery in 2007. The historic Murchison mansion is an iconic structure in the midst of the vines. Onsite tasting room and restaurant with share plates and full meals. In 2023, we have added a beautiful 50 ft pool with lovely water features, there is an activity fee to use the pool. Please plan to arrive before dark, so you can get settled in the daylight. We do not have 24 hour staff.

If you would like a beautiful view of the winery property, ground camping throughout the vineyard is available and most popular ! There is quick access to our winery and food service if you prefer to relax under our covered patio, or pick up a rib eye or filet from the chef and cook it yourself on your propane grill our our community grill. Enjoy your hand crafted estate wine from TARA winery while camping under the stars. You can be among others or select a remote location. Fires permitted only in designed fire pits. No exceptions. We have 2 bathrooms and a solar heated shower near the trail head, camping also available near vineyard. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. is check-in time.

The lower parts of the property require 4-wheel drive, but the top has water and electricity, so any car is fine.

Weekend Trip to Seven Acres Campground
This stay was as described plus some! Most importantly for me is always having my coffee and there's a cute little cabin "tea house" with a kitchen for long stay use plus coffee, tea, and snacks. It was adorable and quite a surprise because the listing said a coffee maker was in the laundry room. Untrue and should be updated to reflect how cute the standalone "tea house" really is! The bathhouse should really be called luxury bath cabin. It is really nice, very clean, and just steps from the cabin I stayed in. It's shared among all cabins so that could turn some off, but it was so nice that I absolutely didn't mind. The area is really pretty, filled with trees and flowers, and sweet outside cats. Right across the street from the lake. The road noise might be busy during prime season but overall, this stay was quiet and relaxing, more than a simple overnight campsite, which was just what I was looking for.

Words cannot express this get away! The attention to detail that Noah has put in and created is unreal! My family and I had the best time and couldnt stop talking about how much we loved being there. Will we be back, ABSOLUTELY! Will we tell all our friends, ALREADY BEGUN! Seriously, stop looking, this is the place to go! If you want a secluded OASIS, look no further.

My kids had a blast. There's a little playground. Getting to see new baby goats was the best thing ever. Lots of area to explore. We got to see many different kinds of mushrooms in the woods.(just looked, didn't pick any). The cabin was nice. Had spots for everyone. We will be back in the spring for berry season!

The stay at Randy and Cheryl‘s hummingbird retreat was fabulous. Had a great reunion with some old friends. Randy and Sheryl were fabulous house. They showed us around the place and told us about all the amenities of which there are many the hot tub the trails the movies, well stocked Cabin exercise room library the animals it was just a really great place to gather we all had a a great time and we’re able to relax and enjoy. Thank you.

Our trip on Christopher’s land was fantastic! The property was beautiful and a wonderful escape from the city. The pond was a really nice element, and we manage to catch a perch and a bass before a cold front came in. Christopher was very attentive and even brought us extra firewood when we requested it after arrival! His hospitality was extraordinary. The process was very simple and I would certainly return to this spot in the future.

Had an awesome tent camping experience here at Tara Vineyard and Winery! First of there are adorable animals 💜. Secondly the bathroom amenities were super clean! Note that the shower is an outdoor shower so be sure to bring a bathing suit to shower in. The shower water was lukewarm, but honestly didn’t bother me. Overall had a great time camping here. Sadly, we didn’t make time to try out the winery, but guess we’ll have to come back and try it out! The charcuterie boards looked amazing though 😍!

I had the most wonderful experience camping at Beulah Ranch this past weekend. The campsite (The Sink) was so cozy, the swing was fun, and I loved how natural and private everything felt. It was very peaceful, with everything I needed provided—including even batteries for electricity.
The property itself is amazing, and my dogs had the best time enjoying the freedom of the open space. Noah’s hard work and creativity really show throughout the ranch, and it’s clear how much work he and his dad have put into making it special. They are both incredibly friendly, genuine, and cultured hosts who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome.
This will definitely become a regular spot for me, and I can’t wait to see all of the exciting plans they have for the future come to life. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway with a big family, pets, or a group of friends—Beulah Ranch is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed! Oh, and you MUST try the pizza. It is so delicious and an experience I promise you have likely never had before.

I truly in incredible experience. I’m a solo mom and took three of my kids age 36 and nine. We had no screens and endless fun! We loved all the big touches in the little touches from having the big swing over the creek for the kids to play on morning at night. The games in the tent. Extra batteries which we didn’t even end up needing. The coffee brought in the morning with muscadine jam that they make from scratch in house from the grapes on the property. But getting picked up in a side-by-side with my kids and cruising around the ranch with the owner Noah. And taken to the outdoor kitchen, which he made from scratch was incredible, seeing the outdoor garden and hearing his passion for the land and time outdoors and introducing people to it made such a special experience. There is a red and white checker tablecloth and candles laid out for us in the kitchen and he had marinated and smoked chicken and a couple varieties of pizza that were out of this world better than any restaurant I’ve been to. The ambiance the hospitality. I’ve stayed at glamping spots in three states and throughout Canada, and this was by far the best. There’s no question we will be back.

Weekend Trip to The Ranch At Beulah
Overall beautiful land and sleeping arrangements. I unfortunately arrived late due to work and Noah was very accommodating regardless.
After a amazing night looking at stars we had a great morning of quite relaxing.

The cabin is so cute! Much bigger on the inside than it looks. A great get away for friends and family. The dogs were super friendly and hung out with us while we looked at the stars!

Weekend Trip to The Fabulous Bok Vegas, Texas
Had a great time! The animals are adorable! The trails are fantastic full of berries to pick! Hosts were very accommodating and gave us a tour! We will definitely be back. The house dogs were the best part for us. They treat you like family!

2 nights at Seven Acres Campground
Joey and Cindy recently set up a gazebo! It has a mini table fire, cushioned seats, and a large speaker. It was very comforting to use for warmth, especially since we went during a really windy time. Cindy and Joey were very sweet and informative and gave us tips for our 3 day trip. The claw tub is also massive and perfect for showering and bathing. This was a very peaceful and cozy getaway!

2 nights at Seven Acres Campground
We had a super cozy and relaxing stay! The bathhouse was actually really nice and the heater in it could get it toasty in there (it got pretty cold at night when we went). The cabin was warm too of course, I just didn't expect to spend so much time in a bathroom while camping (there is a huge claw foot tub in there that was too tempting for us). There was a surprise in the middle of the campsite when we got there, a gazebo just got added which was a really cool bonus since we got to be the first to take it for a spin. It was super windy so unfortunately a campfire was out of the question (this was a problem for anyone out camping so what can you do). Luckily the gazebo that Joey & Cindy added had a pretty wind proof gas powered fire to sit around in it so that saved the day. There is also a grill so we were able to still cook no problem too of course.
We definitely recommend staying!

I've been to Caddo several times and always had a great time. Todd is a fantastic host and works hard to make the sites comfortable. Site 6 is right next to the pond which provides a great morning coffee setting. The farm also offers good for sale so don't forget to ask for the menu. I personally recommend the pickles, pear butter and any preserves they have. Eggs are a nice size and very fresh.
Caddo is an easy drive from DFW yet far enough to feel like a road trip. Didn't skip this listing.

I had a great time camping and fishing with my friends in Christopher’s property. The land itself was very peaceful and stunning. Christopher was a very accommodating host and always ensured that we were not short on any supplies, he even brought us eggs from his farm to cook for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this site for anyone trying to unwind and truly enjoy a peaceful time in nature.
