Once a cotton farm this land was purchased to become a working flower farm and respite opportunity for individuals to come enjoy the land as it was created. It is filled with wildlife and wildflowers. There are over 30 acres to sit and just listen to the stillness and gaze at the stars. Take in the beautiful sunsets and just reset, relax and recharge your bodies. There is no electricity or water but we make sure that we offer non potable water and a fire ring for your visit.

Pitch your tent at a designated location with a fire ring, firewood and a picnic table. 100% complete privacy. Gaze at the stars all night. A short historical drive to the nearby Wichita Mountains or Oklahoma casinos during the day.  Want to glamp? Contact us for our glamping special upgrade that will offer you a double bed, canvas tent fire ring picnic table and ice chest full of cold dinks and/or continental breakfast option.

Lake Godstone™ Lodging and Camping

Lake Godstone™, near Graford, Texas, is a thriving destination introduced to the market in 2017. Initially focused on families, church youth groups, and sports teams, it has since become a hub for a wide array of events, such as birthday and graduation parties, family reunions, church camps, and business team-building retreats.

The venue boasts extensive facilities and activities, including:

Accommodations: A 35-person lodge, a three-bedroom guest home, fully furnished cabins, primitive cabins, group campgrounds, RV and tenting campsites, and primitive tenting sites.

Recreational Activities: Three sandy beaches, six partially covered docks with swim ladders and canoe moorings, kayaks, canoes, a rowboat, pedal boats, water lily pads, and a sports field complex featuring a lit basketball court, sand volleyball court, and baseball and soccer practice fields.

Nature and Exploration: An observatory with a telescope, four miles of mountain bike and hike trails, two new fishing ponds, wildlife feed and water stations, a bird view house overlooking a beaver pond, an aquaponics greenhouse, and six miles of all-weather roads.

Rental Options: UTVs, a golf cart, and a pontoon boat.

Amenities: A comfort station with restrooms and showers, picnic tables, charcoal grills, large fire pits, shelters, a tree house shelter, a campground office, and a small store with a kids' sand playground.

Lake Godstone's diverse offerings and scenic environment make it an ideal location for any retreat or gathering.

Watch your little ones! I have a little climber, but I couldn't let him past the center of the wall. The rocks get a little wobbly, and we don't want anyone to get hurt!

The fire pit is huge! We were sad we weren't able to have a fire due to the high winds and dry conditions.

Pull-Through Full Hook Up

All of our sites are full hook-up with sewer, water and electricity (30 and 50 amp). We have plenty of shaded sites. We offer free basic wifi, a store with a variety of grocery items, RV parts, ice cream and bagged ice. We also have storage units onsite, a relaxing pool, propane filling station, laundromat, restrooms, showers,  playground, nature trail, dog walk, on site management and security cameras.

Deeply Rooted Campground

In November, we had over 10 inches of rain. It was a blessing for our grass and cover crops, however, the spill way at our campground was severely damaged. Therefore, the pictures of our beautiful pond do not portray the actual visual of what you will see. We are in the process of working with engineers to repair the spillway. You will still enjoy the beautiful sunsets, serene environment and we have three other ponds suitable for fishing. 

We offer two full camper hookups and several tent camping options. We have a permanent toilet and sink on-site. We are a full time working farm. We have beef cattle,  sheep, horses, goats and chickens. For an additional cost, we offer farm tours and we are willing to cook for our guests. There are several wineries and breweries nearby. This is the perfect spot if you need to escape the chaos of life and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Campfires are the best part of camping. We do have to be attentive to burn bans. 

Swimming is not encouraged, but kayaks are fun!!

With regeneration practices we have added native flowers, medicinal herbs and pollinators where acres of wheat once stood. We have activities for an additional fee such as taking a stroll with our certified master herbalist, pick some edible flowers in our "I Pick You" U-Pic garden, milk a goat, or  learn about how we implement regeneration practices just to name a few. There’s no pressure to add these activities so just relax and enjoy nature the way it should be, natural.&nbsp;

Foraging is an added activity here at our camp. For an additional fee, our Certified Master Herbalist can take you for a walk and teach you how to make some teas or other things from the foraged plants.
