Welcome to The Bunkhouse on our 93-acre horse farm. Intentional off-grid living: no electricity or cell service, just kerosene lanterns, a wood-burning stove, and peace. Sleeps 8 in cozy memory-foam bunks. Free-roaming horses wander through camp. Spend your days hiking trails, exploring the creek, and sitting by the fire. Perfect for groups seeking a digital detox. Flush toilet and basic amenities provided. 15 minutes to Columbia, 1 hour to Nashville. The road to the campsite goes through a very small creek and up a little hill. Very low vehicles may bottom out. In the rainy months you need 4-wheel drive to get out to the site. We live on the property and will be available to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We ask campers to please check in before 7pm and be courteous about communicating your ETA, as we will be planning our day around your arrival time. We are available via messaging up until 8pm.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Cabin on Horse Farm

Our host Ashley was wonderful. The cabin/bunkhouse felt new and was exactly as described. It has a great atmosphere with a wood burning stove, kerosene lamps, a big front porch with rocking chairs, a fire pit, and a grill. There’s no power but we did have cell service on our phones. We got to meet all the beautiful horses; they were friendly and happy to be loved on, which made for a really special experience. We had a trail ride scheduled, but it git rained out. Overall we had a great time and plan to go back in the fall.
