This 18 acre homestead is conveniently located right on Hwy 64, only 7 miles from the Stantonville Amish community; Shiloh Battlefield and archaeological site; and Savannah, TN. The town of Adamsville (home of Sheriff Buford Pusser!) is only 1.5 miles away, for convenient access to grocery and gas stations. Because we are right on the highway, guests should note that vehicle noise can be heard, especially during weekday working hours. The evenings and early mornings are generally peaceful, and for those seeking a camp spot with easy access, this is the spot for youThere's a 1-acre spring fed pond at the back of the property that's great for swimming, sitting and relaxing, or even fishing (though there's not much in there but perch!) Sevylla was a great host and her property was perfect for my solo weekend trip to Tennessee. Sevylla met me on arrival, showed me around the property and was extremely nice and helpful. The campsite was very clean and well maintained and the platform for my tent made for a comfortable nights sleep. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Lane and Dan's property is a beautiful place for a respite from your routine. Lane and Dan are great hosts and will make you feel at home. They have provided a sparkling clean pool and unique bathhouse (that even has a washing machine) and full hookups at the two shaded gravel RV sites. Away from cable TV and WiFi, nature takes the stage at The Getaway. From your campsite you can watch the fish jumping in the pond, deer strolling across the grounds and thousands of butterflies fluttering about. At night, the dark is broken only by the moon and billions of stars above. The only downside was that the brutal heatwave during our stay limited our outdoor activity. We will visit again.

Wife and I needed a few days of complete downtime and we found that here at Lane and Dan’s little slice of heaven. The hosts were amazing from the start of the reservation till the minute we headed back to reality. The bathroom/showerhouse is an amazing addition to this beautiful property. The views are spectacular, the lake has some great fish, the pool was refreshing and we’ve already booked our next trip to Lane and Dan’s property. If you don’t book here you will never know what you are missing out on.

Spacious park with lots of shade trees and singing birds. After driving through tornado watches when we arrived the office was closed. I called and was met at the office to find out where our hookup site was. Unfortunately it was a Tuesday so the restaurant wasn’t open. And the water park would not be opening for a few more days. We had a shady spot under a large oak tree. We were able to take showers and the facilities were clean, the water was hot. The night was peaceful and quiet. We only stayed 1 night on the way back home from an East Coast visit.

I did not get to stay here due to being sick, but the hosts were very responsive and accommodating to my flex in plans. I wish I could’ve stayed to meet them. I will definitely keep them in mind next time I’m in town.
